I love this song. Dimash said that he originally intended to change his voice, but he was immediately recognized by his physique and height and already knew it was pointless. He was invited as a guest, and the eagle costume was sewn with great attention to detail (the eagle-symbol of Kazakhstan) and given to Dimash as a souvenir.
Love this performance … those rocky high notes are stunning and Dimash soothing voice at the beginning of the song really touche me!!! And his costume is the Kazakh eagle!!! Great!! 🦅 every detail has been well thought. 🎤❤️👏👏👏🔝🔝

Dimash's very heavy schedule did not allow for multiple episodes so it was a planned one episode gig. But they didn't anticipate his immediate recognition. The showrunners had all sorts of (they thought) very clever hints including the Kazakh eagle costume but it was rather funny instead since he was recognized the minute he walked.on stage. So of course there was no sense in trying to mask the voice. 🤭
This was in 2019. He was worried before the performance, because of the mask. In an interview he said that he was recognised from that moment he went on stage because he could hear from the audience calling his name „Dimashi“, that was it😄. Let’s be honest. How long did they think Dimash would go undetected. At first he wanted to change his voice and hold back a bit, but after the audience recognized him immediately, he also wanted to sing the song properly. He's just a perfectionist.

Dimash said he was going to try to disguise his voice. The moment he walked on stage the crowd started chanting his name so he didn't bother trying to hide his identity....lol

Everyone knew it was Dimash as soon as he walked on stage. He’s 6’3” tall. Kinda of stands out. He was going to disguise his voice but when they were calling his name out, he sang the song as only Dimash could do. ❤️
I agree that his voice is immediately recognizable. Amazing that anyone thought he could be a masked singer🤣🤣🤣 I knew it was him as soon as he opened his mouth in the duet before this performance. 🥰

THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!…. “Our Love” or “Wō men de äí” is a cover, is in Mandarin languaje. His mask and custom is based on the Kazajistán flag, Dimash design this custom and He is the Kazajistán Bird (according His words). And the custom is amazing because it’s wings have movement and rise up. Masked Singer China has a different rule with the American one. It's not a competition. The artists appear according to their own schedule and they can even decide how many times they can appear. There's no elimination.

Dimash took part in this competition out of competition because it was clear to everyone that he would be recognized immediately. And right... the audience immediately recognized who was singing there, but of course the jury had to keep appearances as long as possible. Of course Dimash got no further. 😁 Like everything, Dimash's costume was of course well considered. The golden eagle is the coat of arms of Kazakhstan.... and then when the wings spread ... terrific.

He was a guest ,in my opinion he can never compete in this kind of shows cause he can never ever could hide his voice .
I LOVE this performance! From what I heard, the word was out that he was going to be there so when this very tall, slim guy walks out he hears whispers of his name and knew the cat (or eagle, in his case) was out of the bag and just gave it his all without trying to disguise his voice in any way.😊

I really enjoyed that episode of the Masked Singer. It starts with six masked singers. They sang a sing where each took one line. Dimash reported later that the minute he opened his mouth, he heard someone gasp out loud: Dimash!!! (Here’s the link to the full episode. ruclips.net/video/iU6T5NhFwEs/видео.html The song starts at 4:33. You can see a bunch of fans screaming whe Dimash sang his line) Then two were selected to go on, so the Eagle and the smiley face were. Again they shared a song, (I want it that way: ruclips.net/video/rUCH4dIcwak/видео.html) and again a large part of the audience were whispering that they were sure it was Dimash. Then finally he did the solo which you just saw. In between all this were other bits like video clips of “friends” talking about them, Q&A, and so on. At the end all judges guessed it was Dimash as well as 96% of the audience. They started poking fun at the remaining audience…😂😂😂 like who did you think it could be. So, pretty much, it was expected that everyone would guess it so it was more a marketing ploy to boost ratings.
