Honestly I agree, araquanid seems a bit underpowered, it would be cool if they gave it the ability to summon dewpiders
Kind of like Hoopas magician. It should be an extra ability
Tbf it kind of makes sense. In aroma park araquanid is a trap, its absolutely trash and if you waste your time fighting it you're gunna lose. Being a trap in this mode too tracks

@@Prosper_Dean Araquanid barely gives you any points, takes forever to kill and pushes you into the conveyer belts, making it take even longer. The goal of auroma park is to find as many of the abras spawning around the map as you can. To do that you need to be constantly running around the map and moving your camera, not sitting in a corner hitting a spider for half a minute. In that time you could have probably found 1-3 abras. A single abra gives more points than araquanid, and is much much easier to ko. It's somewhat luck based since the abras can spawn literally anywhere, even in your spawn area that the enemy cant access. You can get unlucky and just not find many abras in a game, but theres still plenty of skill involved. PLS do not waste your time killing araquanids lol.

Me wondering how to get to master when ur teammates never rotate to dred and ur teammates surrendered even before zap🙂✌🏻

If you grab zapdos/articuno before regigigas spawns, you gain a huge advantage going into the fight
Articuno in particular. Those freezes help a lot in teamfights
Why do you need to fight over Regigigas when both Zapdos and Articuno can charge enemy goal zones 🤔

First tip: if you are transformed, don't kill a Catchable mon that your teammate is fighting....

Imagine if these art/zap/reggie way of breaking goals become the new way of doing it (rank/standart), that would be awesome.
That’s what I was just thinking! Whoever last hits it becomes that pokemon, so stealing is still viable but you can be stopped as the boss, but you win the teamfight and then escort your teammate

Wow this mode crazy chaotic but at the same time seem like it has so much strategic potential. It would be cool if this is a big hit if they somehow made this an additional ranked mode you could grind.
More people need to see this video.
In 3 games I played, my teammates had articuno or regigigas , ran to the enemy goal and when they arrived they switched back without activating the goal with their attack.

that's the most disappointing part of this mode lol
Maybe this is a way they’re testing Zoroark’s illusion ability 👀! So he can switch into certain mobs or player Pokémon for a short amount of time!
Araquanid is actually fairly decent because its speed and lunge let's you close distance pretty well and safer to ko than electrode for pokemon that don't do a lot of damage.
rotom is too op in this mode when he gets to the goal and since this mode focuses on catching wild mons you'd have the max energy you can get by then I also reccomend fluffy tail in this mode cause of the main thing
Regigigas' Slow Start gets referenced as well; while you're fighting it, after a bit, it'll yell and speed up its attacks.
Question. Do we know if the status effects of held items apply to caught mons as well? Like if I'm playing as Greninja with attack weight and I catch Taurus. Does Tauros get the benefits of attack weight as well?

So the boss and mini boss of all modes are the only catchable/playable pokemon in this mode. I thought you can be anything like maybe audino to get revenge for being the exp boost 😏😂
I usually get Avalugg if I know we're going to lose regigigas so we can stand a chance at defending
Yo Jake, nice content! Love ya man! Got a question. What is going on with quick battles? I've been playing since release and never really got into it. Buuut I noticed the #1 Cinderace on Nintendo ran almost exclusively quick battles. They have almost double the battles won to the #2 player on the ranking boards.
So, I typed in Quick Battle tips on the tube and got absolutely nothing. Just this video and some people showing off 1 battle. I just want to know whats going on with all 3 game types. Things like when the 2x goes off for they square map.

I do quick battles all the time and Auroma Park is my favourite so being able to be Regigigas is super fun
I assume strategy-wise, it's still best to secure the Rotoms whenever you can. Catching pokemon can be fun? But pushing in tandem with Rotoms is probably still how to secure your points. I think we also want to immediately push once someone secured Zapdos/Articuno, and after that push, it's to run back and get ready for Regigigas.
But it's easier said that done to get your teammates to be on the same page.
Also in Quick Battles you want to be someone who can carry games, and I'm usually not that someone, despite being a Master Rank player, so Quick Battles are extremely tough for me, if my opponent Master Rank player can carry their team... because I can't carry my team. I really hope they stop matching us with players with large rank gap there. The lower ranked players are not going to be having fun, and will pretty much give the enemy carry massive EXP when caught, making the enemy carry impossible to fight unless you're also massively fed from an enemy player.
Having a second life in a strong caught Pokemon certainly helps to take down enemy carries.
it should be noted that at the first push, if you switch into arachnid or voltorb while your starter pokemon's moves level up, the upgrade will get chosen for you. hope that made sense cheers
Favorite gamemode ever, you feel like a god when you get regigigas
It would help if the tutorial explain explained all the catch em mons movesets and what they do instead of players having to figure out what the attacks do via trial and error.
imo Regigigas isn't really the ultimate win-con for this mode. If one's team is behind in levels, they can skip the central fight and go for one of the birds, get it right before 1 min mark and go drop wuttagoals. Then at 30 sec mark they can go for one more bird(or maybe both) and therefore another round of wuttagoals. Better than over-commiting to the Gigas and ending up dedd.
This is probably not easy to follow in solo queue though.
why is none of this information available and described within the match? do you know how many times ive lost and soured the experience of this game mode before finally understanding all the nuances & what i was doing wrong hiyyyaa
I have an idea, maybe to add additional Pokemon (with their dedicated skills), which would be chosen before the start of the game as items, it would allow further combinations and the game to be more fresh

The ignorant teammates I had today, who did not bother shooting opponent goal after getting Legendary birds or Gigas, PLEASE watch this video, learn, and don't throw a match we can win easily.
Regigiygas is my favorite Earthbound enemy. All jokes aside, thank you for this video Jake 😀

It might just be mi, but it seems Araquanid moves heck'a fast. If anything, It's good for slower Pokémon to get from one objective to another quickly. Again, might just be mi but I think it is much faster. Lil' taxi.

Taurus shoulda been a defender. Hes sooo fun or give mamo that knock back knock up
Tauros in the main series is more of a speedy sweeper
I want to love this mode but I can’t for some reason. It feels weird to play as another Pokémon and I sometimes forget to use it.
The one thing I hate about this game mode is when one of my teammates steal my articuno or zapdos😭😭😭

Whichever one you like playing most. Due to monthly buffs & nerfs you never know how meta a Pokémon will be.
That said, Gengar & Absol are the best speedsters currently. All the supporters besides Mime are good to have on a team (Mime is good too but not as good.)
Lucario has always been good. Tsareena & Machamp are also great all rounders currently.
Defenders: Honesty any of them would be good, but Snorlax & Crustle are the weakest of the defenders currently.
For attackers, you get the best ones for free.
Still it depends what you’re good at & like playing. Despite being so good my win rate with Lucario is only 50% but with other non S tier Mons my win rate is above 55%.

Ngl i find this mode a little overloaded and heavily team reliant. It doesn't feel as fun if you're a solo queue player.

I hate this game mode :-D It's a disaster in solo queue, and losing a zapdos or articuno to the opponent, is basically a loss because of their strength.
Just fought a GROUP as a solo q in ranked with some dude named spragelsfan. We won somehow Jesus christ lol was rough when they all came ORGANIZED in solo q. Hint hint fix God's dang solo q matchmaking ffs
