Rick McKinney is such an imaginative artist, he always seems to knock it out of the ballpark, brilliant work!
Which car was it?
Please like and comment! It really helps! What was your favorite car?
Mine was the Skull 💀
@@RobbZipp You should see that Beast with eyes glowing red coming up in your side mirror at night. Its f$%king awesome.
@@REVBRYAN1000 I did see it like that at the Art Car Ball! Not sure if it made it on that video.
Thank you so much. I was too sick to make it this year so it was wonderful to be able to see it .
This was from last year. I wasn’t able to go this year. Hope you feel better soon!
That was soooo awesome 🎉 Thank you 🤩👍💯
Sorry. That was last year. I couldn’t make it this year.
My favorite was at 59:06.
I'm a little biased.
Thanks for the video.
Nice! Thanks for being a part of one of the best traditions in Houston! Hopefully you won’t need to save anyone from floods anytime soon!
@@RobbZipp If the floods do come, ARHTX ARMY is ready.
Hopefully we'll see you next year.
Thanks so much! Maybe I can make a video riding with you and talk about it?
I moved to Houston in 1987 and I have never been to this Parade. I remember in the early 90's when I used to visit a family member and take the Metro I used to walk pass a building in Downtown that had a storage space with a locked metal gate that had weird cars inside. I remember I used to try to look inside everytime I passed there but it was dark and the cars had spiderwebs.
The parade is a Houston institution! I wonder what happened to those old cars you used to see.
Thanks. This one of the few videos that shows the entire Parade and folks IN the Parade miss out on most of it. Thanks again.
My fave? Hmm tough one. Toss up tween Hen A Tron2000 or Sashimi Tabernacle Choir
Thanks so much, Bryan! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Do you still own the comics shop? I haven’t been around that part of town in a while.
Never the owner. Just a cog in Nans machine. Now just a loyal customer and fan.@@RobbZipp
@@REVBRYAN1000 ah gotcha! I always saw your car there!
That guy at the 1 hour 38 minute 20 seconds sure is cool!
Thanks for watching that far into it! Was that you?!
I've never been to the art car parade but I did get to see some art cars as some were on display at a sugar land's mardi gras event and they were very cool to see, take pics of and I even got to chat with one of the artist.
That’s cool. The parade this year is this Saturday!
@@RobbZipp i know😂, that's how I found ur video cuz I was searching to see what its like b4 I decide if I'm going to go. I feel like its a must do at least once.
Hopefully I get press credentials again.
Howdy Zipper, sorry that I won’t successfully make it to the live due to exam testing, but I’m sure I’ll make it later of the video. Have fun, stay safe, don’t be a bandwagon, stay strong, see ya in the next adventures.
Sure thing.
Get ready its going down Saturday April 23rd Texas Beach Fest on the seawall follow by the official afterparty at club fosters n Sunday April 24th after the Texas Beach Fest blockparty on cullen blvd 3pm
@@Kingmack00 dang. I’ll be out of town.
Hi Zipp,
Thanks for the great video. Curious if you’re going to add the list of cars from the official entry list. Great to see new art cars & classics by Larry Klemm, Rick McKinney, Harrod Blank and others.
Hi Mann,
Craig offered to give me the book with all of the cars, but I told him I didn’t need it. My apologies. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and maybe next year I can do that.
Are you streaming this weekend's parade?
No, I won’t be able to. I need a rest day. I’ve been stuck in Fort Lauderdale and need a day alone at home.
@@RobbZipp No worries! Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks!
Why is the sound cut off at 41:11
Because they played a copyright song that would have made me take down the entire video. I had to replace the audio from that segment.
I wish I could get a screenshot of the 1 hour 38 minute and 27 second mark of this video somehow.
If you watch it on your phone, you can! It’s easy!
Yes I was watching it on my phone. I was able to stop the video at that moment but I wasnt able to save that to my phone.
Yes I was the guy on the 20-in BMX bike.
Nice! If you can’t screenshot it, send me an email and I’ll do it for you!
Email me and I’ll try.
