Mark David definitely one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen on women's sports. As an American I applaud what they were able to do.
Hopefully now in 2018 we kick your butt. Lol.

There would have been no shot to even worry about had the ref not been in the way. Obviously not very good refs that don't know how to read plays, and such...There's no way that ref would have gotten in the way if it were a seasoned NHL ref.

I had a brand new tractor-trailer. I was on my way back from Halifax to Toronto when the truck had problems. Went to a dealership in Moncton. They said they could look at it in a while. I went to the driver's lounge and saw everybody in there. The score was 2 to 0 for the US. We all sat there in sadness. THEN, BANG, BANG, it was tied! Mechanics, drivers, office staff went nuts!! We were all there for Canada and our Canadian women! When Marie scored, I knew the celebration would keep me there overnight, but I didn't care. One of my best memories of long haul trucking. BUT, I was in Calgary when the Argos beat the Stampeders for the 100th Grey Cup! Amazing!

I thought the 2010 men's hockey game was forever going to be my favourite hockey moment in my life but this game totally topped it! Even I had lost my faith when we were down 2 nothing. I went to the library and decided to do homework, when all of the sudden, a teacher at my school starts yelling at the top of his lungs when Canada scored to tie the game. Basically my whole school crowded the hallways and the gym to see Canada bring home the gold! Best game of my life! Funny thing though, the one class next to the tv in the hallway, wasn't allowed to watch the game... haha suckers

I wholeheartedly disagree. The referee of this game blew it in overtime; for BOTH teams. You know what the first thing the Canadian coach did after we won? Apologized to the American coach. I know that's a funny stereotype, (us apologizing) but we really didn't earn that win like the men earned the 2010 victory.

What the highlights don't show is how the US dominated defensively for most of the game and looked it hopeless for Canada to score against them with less than 4 minutes to go.

All tv screens at work had the game on. All quiet until the third period. It was pure joy after that
