    Always nice to see Ragnick succeed, would love to see him manage a top league side at some point

      @nilsfra1452 as much as i agree, save yourself the annoyances and try to accept that a lot of people just cant or wont. Ive seen so many people write names incorrectly like "Kross" or "Halland".

      I don't know if his age will allow that. I think that's why he didn't take the Bayern job when they went in for him. I could be wrong though.

      Rangnick coached Man United, so he has already played in several top leagues.

    remember when CR37 said:
    "why press.."
    "too much running training.."
    "He (Ralf) is not a real coach.."
    Same time Ralf wanted young talents like Sesko and Wirtz who was then only around 20mil.
    Player bullied Ralf caling him "specs" ect.
    IT's DISGRACE!!!!

      @@jasperreichardt ManU would be a force in europe again if they had put the same trust and time they gave Solskjaer and Ten Hag into Rangnick. As an austrian however I am really happy it turned out this way. If it wasn't for CR7 being at ManU at that time things would have definitely turned out differently

    I just wish we austria actually get some offensive talents which we always lack because defense we always do have some talents but when it comes to talent for dribblers and pace merchants we never have anyone

    Althought ther wasn´t much goals, it was a very exciting game and Austria looked pretty strong, I believe they have a case for darkhorse of the tournement, very solid and energetic team that Ragnick built. Great video!

    How do you think Austria could have got the upper hand in this game? I think they could've played more short crosses into the box playing one more pass to create from instead of looking for headers and balls into the forwards feet. They always looked a pass to quick.

    • @Ingles191
      @Ingles191 8 дней назад +1

      absolutely wright! That was main reason for the loss, the final vertical pass didn´t come.

      Offense is a quality question. If Baumgartner made the goal it's a different game. Gregoritsch and old Arnautovic are not in the level as the rest of the squad.

    • @felity1773
      @felity1773 7 дней назад

      We just don't have the quality against teams like France, we'll never be able to beat them unless they have a bad day. No matter how good our tactics are. Their individual quality is much higher and we don't really have any special players that can create chances out of seemingly nowhere (like Nico Williams for Spain yesterday...). Our offense is mediocre at best, which sucks because the defense is really good.

    Good analysis. However, if we look at the market value of both teams we have a difference of almost a billion € (!). France is currently estimated a market value of 1.23 bn € while Austria is only estimated to have a market value of 237 m € and that includes missing players like Alaba or both Schlager players (goalkeeper and winger) as well as Kalajdzic who all suffer from servere injuries. Sure, money doesn't score goals but the technical difference was clearly observable. That's why Austria turned the game to a more physical state as on a technical level France is clearly better.
    What pressing can do to teams that are not on such a high technical level could be seen then versus Poland and even to some degree against the Netherlands, even though they seemed to be far off that day. IMO the most dangerous teams Austria can face in this tournament are France, Spain and Portugal as these are the teams I consider to have the highest level of technicality in it and the Rangnick system is weak when you can counter the pressure put up by the players with a high level of technical finesse and thus create room, especially for fast players like Mbappe.

    Nailed it. If Austria did 100% of Potential, they would have won. But it was not a 100% game, unfortunately.
    The individual quality of France is just to crazy.

  • @michaelgrabner8977
    @michaelgrabner8977 8 дней назад +1

    France didn´t deserve to win because they didn´t score by themeselves although having such quality players in the offence....Therefore a draw would have been the fair result.

    • @felity1773
      @felity1773 7 дней назад

      I disagree. They could've won 2-0 or even 3-0, we were lucky to not concede from Mbappes and Girouds chances

    • @michaelgrabner8977

      @@felity1773 I firmly disagree because
      1st. "a chance" is no goal and doesn´t count anything.
      And 2nd France didn´t have "big goal chances" in the entire match.
      And the few chances France actually had Pentz defended sovereignly. So what the heck are you talking about in behalf of could have won 2:0 or 3:0..that´s delusional in behalf of how the game actually went..
      "Could have" what´s that?
      If your mother "could have" be a man then she "could have" be your father. That´s "could have".
      To argue with "could have" is having no argument.
      And by the way talking about "being lucky" + "goal chances"
      The by far biggest goal chance in the entire match did have Christoph Baumgartner and no "Frenchie" where in reality France was just lucky not to receive the 0:1.
      And France was lucky again as the Ref after that big chance decided wrong and gave France the ball instead of corner. And from directly that wrong decision felt the 1:0 extremly lucky for France because it was an own goal which was the endresult...so therefore and fact based just solely France was extremly lucky = even 3times within 1 minute - in order to even win that match.
      France was dominant, that´s not denieable but only in midfield but not in their offence because Austria defended - well organized - and that´s not "lucky" because "being well organized" is no luck but just being well organized.

    how could you not mention Mbappes broken nose??!! /s
    Sad that the videos with more insight and focus on the game itself and both teams involved get so much less views than the plane, lazy, surface level commentary that only focus on the big teams.
