@@ttadecoded1033 Not anymore unfortunately, they haven't really done anything new for mainline Sonic since Black Knight, the last mainline one they worked on was Generations which was a remix of Open Your Heart, and then after that the only other one they worked on was Green Light Ride for Team Sonic Racing.
@@morganfitch8325 GLR does bring some hope that they might be making a return though. The fans have made it no secret that we want them back, so we'll have to wait and see if they show up with anything new in Frontiers.

This song is not for any Sonic game or show, nor is it official.
There’s so much I love about this song, all the references woven into the lyrics, instead of just having the titles (like Sonic Youth, not saying that’s bad tho), all the little motifs from Live and Learn like on the line, Gotta take it slow sounding like yeh yeh yeh yeh yeh. But the most impressive thing is how they were able to recreate the Crush 40 sound, I’ve never heard anyone recreate it so accurately without sounding too edgy or too much like metal, it hits the perfect balance
Sonic Youth is almost an internal joke that is coincidentally one of the best C40 songs.

I love how Johnny looks like he wants to laugh at some of the lyrics. He must’ve had so much fun doing this.
Johnny is 54 and still full of the same energy he had when he was younger.
Now that the full video is out, I have a chance to say a huge THANK YOU again to all the guys from the artistic team mentioned in credits in the end of the video and in the description. Honestly I've never ever dreamt of having so many skilled and talented people involved, not speaking of the outstanding MUSIC of course!! I'm really proud of what we came up with and I can't wait for more music projects from the Chalkeaters team, just as you guys :)
The second thing I'm proud of is this amazing community and how my work of including so many references in it paid off (which compliments the cunning references in the lyrics made by Alios, I laughed at them at least as hard as Johnny did believe me), because you were able to notice so so many! Of course the toughest ones are still there, but wow. It really makes me motivated to make even more secret messages and easter eggs hidden in future videos just for you guys, hehe
I've been listening to "What I'm Made Of" by Crush40 today again, and now comparing what the musicians alongside with Johnny did feels so... close. Like I'd really have believed it's another song by them. That really means a lot.

This video really shows all the incredible work that went into it. Often it's easy to look at a 1 minute animated video and think "Man they couldn't even produce more than a minute!" But when you see things like this and really see all the hard work and passion that went into it, it really does make you appreciate the project so much more. Yes, a huge amount of work is put into making frame by frame animation, which a lot of studios don't find profitable anymore. I'm glad we can share with you the good old traditional way of animating, and you all supporting the music and telling your friends about us is the best you can do to help us make more videos like that possible ~
I love this. So funny to see Johnny trying not to laugh while singing. I have been lucky enough to to meet him several times and have photos with him and Jun and he signed my Crush40 album a few years ago. Great guy, fantastic singer and all round amazing performer.

As someone with 35 springs behind me and still stuck in perpetual adolescence, this song hit like a gut punch when I realized that Sonic (in-song) has at least got its life somewhat figured out.
