This might be in the running for my favorite album of 2022, 2023 and 2024. Ive listened to it end to end at least 200x and it still sounds so fresh and chill with the right amount of heavy. Their other albums are top notch also but this one just speaks to me a little more i guess.
Seriously, one of the best progressive metal albums I've heard in a while; these nostalgic guitar solos, these savoury bass kicks, light honey synths - man, this is great.
This pandemic has made me discover some new music. Distant Dream is apparently all I need to overcome a lock down, work from home and an expecting wife ! Excellent music.

Cold Clouds is my definite highlight of this album. The atmospheric elements fused with modern ambient-progressive rock/metal comforts my mind and soul, even without the vocals/lyrics displayed is what gives instrumental music an edge of critical matter, almost like a story being presented in your own perception. Thank you, Distant Dream and hope your band aims and hits the scene!

I feel like this is a perfect post rock album which I can listen to a lot of the time, there are calm ambient segments as well as powerful metal segments, and both are equally beautiful.
