I practiced the piano faithfully for over 30 years and I still couldn't get through a piece without mistakes. I am in total awe of someone who can play this well.
My best friend wanted me to play for her and I warned her I make mistakes. She said it was fine....by the end of the song me knees were shaking and so were my hands when I held them out to show her. The weirdest thing though....as a kid...I had ZERO problem playing in front of other people. In fact I loved it. So, I'm not sure what happened as an adult, but I can't seem to play with anyone in the room. Sometimes my husband will step outside when I play so he can listen to me play. I'll know he's outside, but it tricks my brain somehow. It's the weirdest thing
Fun fact: Beethoven wrote the first part of Für Elise to be fairly easy to play so that Elise; A fairly intermediate paino player could play it. However, when Elise rejected his proposal, he wrote the rest of the song to be incredibly difficult so that Elise could never play it.
This is incredible. I come back here and listen to this when I'm feeling down, and it just blows me away that anyone can be that talented. Awesome and awe inspiring.
You're incredible, I found that video while confirming a lie (one friend of mine said that this version was made by him, he sent an audio like it was a homemade recording but I discovered that it was a lie recently and found the video) and I'm really glad that I found it so I can congratulate the one who deserve. Again, YOU'RE INCREDIBLE AND I LOVE THAT SONG
Gosh, this sounds so amazing! I came from the other video with the electronics and although I love that too, it overpowered the piano too much. This sounds so amazing in itself too!
Amazed at the skill shown here. If I'm perfectly honest, I think I'd choose the original if I'm just after something to listen to, but I am really impressed by the skill you need to play this version and make it sound as good as it did.
I played this after trying to learn all the chords in 5th and since I was spirit kid she had a piano. I asked nicely to play it and after 2 weeks of negotiation she said if it’s good then I’ll let you play it all the time. After which I played this after 3 years or trying to learn it. It paid off and I thank this guy.
Year 1810. Somewhere near Vienna in a dimly litted room with a single candle... Beethoven, slouching over a desk, scribbles notes onto a faded parchment Thinking about a certain Elise, he writes each note with love and tenderness Something feels weird. He starts to feel drowsy... He slumps over at his desk The Candle flame to no more. The real world fades, as he enters a dream world.
