    Some useful shortcuts:
Making subdecks w/o having to drag (incase you use the web version, or app) -
If the parent deck in this case is "Neurobiology" and your subdeck name is "Week 1", you should make the "Neurobiology" deck first, then for the subdeck "Week 1::Neurobiology". Using the double colon, "::" is used throughout Anki.
For example in cloze deletion you can use the double colon after your hidden answer to provide a hint.
So in the case of "What is the powerhouse of the cell? {{c1::mitochondria::organelle}}". When you see the card, it'll appear as "What is the powerhouse of the cell? [organelle]"
other keyboard shortcuts include ctrl+enter to submit a card when you're done making a card, ctrl+shift+c to add a cloze blank (substitute "command" for mac's), when in review mode: spacebar to flip/reveal card, hit 1(hard), 2(good), 3(easy) to rate a difficulty (I believe spacebar auto-defaults to 2 as well, when you have to rate it)

I had NO idea you can drag cards. I have dozens of subdecks within subdecks within subdecks and had to spend forever manually adding/removing double colons. I wish I knew this earlier, it would've saved a lot of time and headache!

"Cloze" cards are no longer showing the "extra" or display images when added. In order to solve this please follow these steps:
in an empty cloze card, add a new field and name it "extra"
close the card and go to the main anki window and go to "tools"
    select "manage note types
    "
    select "cloze
    "
    select "choose cards
    "
at the bottom center choose "add field"
change field from "text to extra"
change "add to": from "front to back"
Press ok and try and see if works

I just wanna say that in the book make it stick, the researchers say that cloze deletions, or blank words, create enough of an artificial difficulty that it aids in memory retention.
Kinda like reading a certain passage that is kind of blurry. It aids in retention of the information.

How do you make anki flash cards for pathway/mechanistic information? For example, I’m currently studying the complement system and find that breaking it up into several flash cards leaves me really confused and I don’t have a great big picture idea of how it all works together. Thanks!

There's a photo editing software called Skitch that I use for memorizing pictures -- there's a video by Kevin Jubbal that explains this really well, recommend you watch that

What's the point of cloze deleting the entire answer? Seems like a basic flashcard with extra steps.

9:28....I do get it..But what about long text's answer they ask in exam??
Will the small large no. Of flash cards I make add up and will I recollect everything in exam??
Wouldn't a question like above itself will have a subdeck of itself? Won't it be ardous to open each subdeck?
Like in exam you have a question like "describe in brief about spinal chord"...
That isn't a single answer they ask for...That is collection of sentences..
I hope my question is clear

how do you make it show only the front side of the card? No one addresses it, the video about the states did not address it right. Everyone just tells you the basics that every knows

Have you used Anki for the GMAT? If so, could you please make a video on it?
