Am from Uganda but you have to be very careful when buying land, there are so many scammers, you had to take time and get used to the country then find genuine land dealers.
You have such a beautiful family and l commend you for raising them up so well with life and survival skills. In addition, pls also build them up spiritually by including in your daily routine as a family: prayers, fasting, bible reading/ study, praise, thanks and worship of God through Christ Jesus. The days and times we live in are very dark and evil and only those who dwell intimately in the shelter that is the Word of God/Christ will truly thrive, flourish, prosper and be kept safe from all evil. For us, all we need is a few acres and we'll be happy, as most people here are who have at least an acre 😊 But if you want to take issue with land availability, you can address the tycoons and multinational companies who buy up huge tracts of land for mining, etc.

You guys are very young , I still don't understand why you chose to leave in nigeria when you could offer your kids a better life in Europe or USA etc. life eillbe much easier if the two of you were settled in Europe or abroad ,time to buikd your financial strength for few years and putting everything in place including perdonal housing before moving to Africa.
