One thing I must say, is that with all smart phones, you either get an incredibly durable phone, or a really breakable one. My friend and I both got iPhone 5s's the same day, and even with a case, his broke from its first drop. I never wear a case on my phone, it's been dropped at least 20 times, it has actually been hit out of my hand (by accident) and flung across a room just to slam face first into the wall, then drop face down onto tile... and it has a couple scratches but that's it. So I feel like these tests really can vary. That being said, I'm fairly certain my 5s suffered internally, and so I can't wait for my 6s to arrive in the mail at the end of the week.

The 10 foot drop on the screen wasn't very fair. The S6 Edge+ had no direct contact to the asphalt and the iPhone 6+ took a bigger blow. That said, no doubt the Edge is more durable.

the amount of times I dropped my galaxy is unbelievable and to see it surviving is such a relief. I've dropped it once and thought the screen shattered however, it was just my screen protector, so happy with my s6.

I recently dropped my work iPhone 5S and it's screen surface is now really sharp and has even cut my finger and scratches my Moto X's case when in my pocket with it. I don't recall my Galaxy S3 being sharp at all after I broke it, I even used it for 4 months as it was and called it "spider man edition". I've not broken any other cell phone screens before so I don't have much to compare this to.
It would be interesting to know how the current phones feel when cracked also, as people will often want to try to continue using them a while.

After about 5 drops from about 4 feet high on my mom's s6 edge+ the display cracked, there was some discoloration on the glass around the earpiece and there were some green lines on the side of the display but the phone was very much usable except for the front camera which was covered by the cracked glass.

The screen resolution is one of the few things I would concede to Samsung, and btw, the 6 & 6S plus are 1080p.
You should watch the videos of the S6/Note 5 against the iPhone 6S. Double the RAM, and half the performance of the iPhone, reloading apps constantly - as for the camera, the iPhone was arguably the best at 8MP, and now it's certainly so at 12.

Also, now there new phone has "plus" In it. I will agree that Galaxy is overall a great phone, but Apple keeps it simple.
Samsung sells more because of all the phones they have. Apple makes all types of different devices. Windows sells more than Mac because Windows has more apps which make people prefer Windows. Android sells more than iOS because of all the manufacturers that use Android. There are Samsung, HTC, and many more. iOS is only in Apple devices.
