nah, Apple watches a fraction of certain iPhone/ipad surviving whatever type videos and they use the research people get to find out sometimes to do other certain things, in example due to iphones like the 2G 3G and 4/4S being able to be accidentally dropped in water, or drowned in water and possibly die from the battery being touched by the water they made a coating around the battery within the iphones shell so for later your iphones battery cannot be touched by water and will have a less likely change of shortening out its electricity appliance it can re-generate, in videos where people made videos of using their iphones under certain levels of water they found it possible to still have the battery be possibly bugged at some point by an oceans type of water or chemicals in the water which may decay the wrapping of the coating around the battery so Apple again found a better kind of coating material they of course tested to see if could be decayed by certain variants of water, and so they pretty much have a 99.9% of the time safe from water damage type phone these days but the 00.1% is on the iphones body these days, apple is trying to construct a strong enough shell and have been criticized though at times to have used cheap materials to make the iPhone bodies with, but they didn't use anything cheaper but their looking to shave weight off their phones as well as a still very strong phone as well..

Watching this on an iPhone 8 in 2021 - by far the most consistent, reliable iphone I’ve owned so far....
I used to have an iPhone 8 I got back around late 2018. It worked well but the battery sucked. It will only go half a day until it dies. I got a new iPhone 13 pro in May of this year.
My first phone in 2016 was a iPhone 4s and my next phone in 2018 was the iPhone 5s then in 2019 I got the iPhone XR then this year like 1 month ago I got the iPhone 13 which is what I’m using.
My phone is my age. A 13 year old has a iPhone 13 😂
