In this video I have shared my views on BCA in 2022. Many students have doubts if BCA is worth it in 2022 or not. Everyone talks about the pros of the course but we should also consider its cons. In this video I've talked about reasons why you should not do BCA.

In today world degree doesn't matter skills matter a lot but if we have both thing I m sure u will be successful for sure if u work hard in bca and pass out with good marks you will a good package so guys don't waste ur time .

I'm a BCA 2nd year student and I would say it's one of the best and polished degree,, if u want to go in tech fields then it will be better option...u will be taught various skills which is demanding in tech market....skills matter mostest over degree

Waise tbh abhi 18, 19 ki age me aise decisions lena bht mushkil hota hai, lekin mai toh yahi kahunga ki agr tum job ka sochte bhi ho toh koi ache clg se BCA krna Best rahega.( If you are totally new to this IT field)
Kyunki ache clg me acha exposure bhi milega, opportunities bhi rahengi, jo agar tum grab karte ho toh experience me boost milega..

In today's time degree doesn't matter so much, skill matters100%
If you have the skills, you don't have the degree. Still you will make good money.If you have a B.Tech degree. Machine learning .But if you don't have skills then that degree is of no use.

I got into Amazon as an SDE with BCA after 1 year of experience in a service-based company with a 3.25 LPA CTC.
BCA is the most underrated degree. I have a similar story to yours but just that I hung in there a bit longer.
All we need is good DSA skills and an opportunity.

Some times it's not about paisa Or anything because in South when it comes to 11&12th we have completely different subjects we can only chose maths or biology so maths students can get into btech but biology students can't so if they want to get into tech jobs then BCA and BSC are the only options even if they are bad or good if biology students wants to get into tech jobs they have only these options
I'm from a commerce background, but instead of maths, I had Informatics Practices. I cannot do btech because PCM is required. So I'll be doing BCA+MCA because of that

That uninterested student part and there's no competition part was legit I mean i am currently at final year and there is almost no competition in my clg and we have 150 students enrolled in our batch only 10-15 students have intrest in programming and there is no coding culture in the college as you have to be friends with cse students to compete

You're lucky. Atleast 10-15 interested students are there. In my class of 24 (6 left within 2 years) I'm the only one.

same story as me and i did take a drop for jee because i was scared that i wudnt have any future in bca but then i failed in the drop year and continued ny bca course from where i left,then i started looking for mba too because it seemed to provide me better jobs and there were many good colleges in it,then same way like you i was like why am i looking for mba when i like coding? Why am i scared?
If i like smthing and i believe i can do smthinng good in it then why am i running from that opportunity!

I have done bca from tier 3 clg (approx 1 lakhs total fees) and passed on july 2022 I applied for many off campus jobs and got offer from wipro wilp , cognizant , infosys, capgemini and accenture . Maine faisla kia accenture join krne ka kyu ki mereko same role mila jo betch ko dia jata hai i.e. Application Development Associate for 4.5 lpa

@@mrtarun2567 take out basic salary and then deduct pf and and professional tax in my case 385000 is base salary /12 - 3600 for pf -200 for professional tax therefore in hand salary for per month is 28200
I am also first year bca student but don't focus on degree pls keep focusing on skills because if you have good knowledge than you can Crack faang companies also keep working 💪

Most ... I mean 90% of the btech grads gets this 3-4lpa package...
Once you get into industry everything becomes equal ND smooth.
Even after BCA+1 yr of experience I.e 4 yr.
U can grab 7lpa package if u r good at DSA.
But if ur good at DSA n from btech you'll get 15+lpa

@@6rislamiccity9923 I completed mine 12th in pcmc’s , no idea about your pcb but if u can take engg den go for tat it will be deficit but do some effort trust me it will be worth it after bca the company will pay you 15k if u get selected on campus if not they don’t even care about you ,when ever u try to apply there will be requirement of only engg and MCA if u are lucky , there is no good openings for us , they will put bca graduate to a work like bpo which is totally wast even u have great knowledge den a engg student they will push u to a BPO side , wt i say is try to do engg or do more research n go for other streams which has future , see i have told you about my experience in BCA , it was important to tell you bcz many ppl are blindly coming to this stream without knowing the reality, its already 1.5yrs i have completed my BCA with 8 cgpa n still have no jobs i apply every day but they don’t respond or they say your not qualified enough ( it means iam not from BE , Btech or MCA )i am lucky enough to be a financial Good background but everyone’s situation is not same , its not like i haven’t done projects or learnt something ,i have done projects on my own my own website everything is der if u want u can check it on linkedin

The story was true as hell i can pretty much relate to it . I did my bca from a tier 3 rank college and the main reason i done it bcz the fees was low and i can only afford that on that time due to covid its been 3 year my college facility was not good and even the companies that came for campus placement are bpo jobs or bps jobs no technical jobs at all these types of jobs are not exclusive for a bca student even if you have done bba or you are 12 pass you can easily apply can get selected i got a offer from tech_mahindra for bps role and i am not happy with that their are people i know that are doing pretty well on the other hand i am struggling to not be a burden toh my famile my collegemates are pursuing mca for good career opportunities thats the story of my life after doing bca the course itself is not a bad at all but choose your college wisely or do btech from a decent college HB

Bhaiya I am planning to do MCA after Bsc math . But the actual thing is I am the girl child of my parents and UK I was literally not allowed to study after my 12th because they wanted to educate my brother for that reason they straight away told me it's enough of studying . I had 90%in Icse 90 in 12th but still I wasn't allowed . Because of which 3yrs it went on a gap I didnt know what to do in that time I did tuting for kids around and made atleast 8k per month because of which I could afford mu college fees now I am studying Bsc in one of the top college in my city. Back then for some reason as I was very late I was not in the space to give entrance . But I want to get into IT. Because of my gap will it cause problem for the recruitment in the companies

don't worry about gap since you have reasonable explanation. don't put the year when you passed 12th that way they won't know about gap. or if you do have to put 12th, put 3 years tutoring experience in work experience and explain the truth to the recruiter if asked. some companies will discriminate but startups and local companies will not care at all
if you can code really good and if they see the talent inside you then it wouldn't matter at all . I'm also a math hons student aiming for mca and i also had wasted 1 year bcz of a backlog in sem 6

First BCA is a degree jo sirf apko 5-6 LPA ka package dila sakta hai.
Second go for MCA and try to crack NIMCET so that ap kisi NIT me admission le pao.
NITs are best for MCA and comes just below IITs.
So if you think BCA ke baad scope nhi hai tho you r little right little wrong.
But MCA ke baad bohot scope hai.
Remember degree is just a ladder towards your dream job but your skills are your legs which help you to climb that ladder .

BCA is a good course agar apka interest Coding and all that kind of stuffs per hai.
Per aapko hard work karna padega apne skills per.
After BCA I suggest go for MCA from a reputable collage(NITs).

hey ,i really don't know why is there are so many misconceptions about bca i am a bsc graduate bsc computer science which is known to be equivalent to bca and in my batch 5 students got 21+lpa job offer from Deshaw my teachers were highly qualified and many students were placed with decent offers and even i am placed with good offer it totally depends on you! so all the best to all the candidates who are pursuing bca/bsc and you are no less than a btech graduate

In my college, all teachers are highly qualified.
Whatever department it may be.
In BCA department, most of the teachers are having PhD in computer science, some teachers are MTech.
Also their resume are posted in college website.
My respect for them increased after reading their resume.
I feel very much lucky.
Same here almost all teachers done mtech and also having co-operate experience and even i got placed in wipro and Accenture but it was off campus

see i am a bca 1st year student and i have noticed that the the main thing is you have to compete with btech 4th year student and you are in third year so btech student get a extra 1 student for dsa and the main thing is dsa which matter for placement and you want to get a good package in bca the solve dsa from either 2nd semister and 3rd and polish it because it is all that matter in placement time
