Having seen the Arri Alexa 35 in the flesh the first week it came out I am amazed at its size.(my daughter works at a kit room)
Now with content coming out daily it is mind blowing that technology has moved so far.
As a stills photographer and a lover of films I am learning so much about your industry.

Excited to use the camera - but wanted to point out how perfectly toned the promotional material from Arri is. Neutral, subtle and extremely well crafted, aiming for the whole world with representation of gender and race that is more than skin deep. Maybe it's a bit "safe" (boring) for some - but my god is more inviting than the american bro vibe of R3D. Sony and Canon do allright to, but Arri is a whole tier above - maybe because they only do this once a decade :)

A super camera in the world. Nothing get close to it's real world wide dynamic range. Love it.

great~ we producers now just have one more great reason to cut budget for lights and lighting crews~ "just shoot it and the fucking camera can handle the lighting environment!"
