Thank you for posting. This is my favorite hairstyle!
So incase anyone is new or in beauty school. She was coming up at 45 deg angle. What she meant by pulling it straight out is now the middle back was turned into a 90deg angle. So make sure after the nape your position of the hair changes and be sure to take nice thin even partings.

Only if you're blind! That hair style is out of style has been outdated in the 70's. Long hair is in. She looks ridiculously odd. I'm not fond of an old, old woman being drunk, arguing and being foolish.
