Wall E You Know My Name

It's here... From the maker of the tribute music video "Ratatouille - We Will Get There", and "WALL•E Fan Trailer - Forgotten World", comes his first WALL•E music video everyone's (hopefully) been waiting for!
To commemorate the simultaneous U.S. release of Pixar's sci-fi masterpiece on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 18, and the Australian bow of the latest James Bond adventure 'Quantum of Solace' on November 19, The Drive-In Theatre is proud to present a brand-new Pixar music video tribute. Featuring the theme song from the 2006 motion picture Casino Royale, our intrepid robot hero gets the 007 treatment, as he defeats the bad guys, gets the girl and saves the world.
This is perhaps my most ambitious and challenging project yet, as the song is very fast-paced and the editing has to be very tight to match the beats and lyrics. Some of the song-video synch is subtle, and I've tried to tie the overarching 'story' of Wall-E's journey to the lyrics, as well as repeat certain thematic elements (especially in the chorus lines). All in all, this was probably a 24-hour endeavor in total, partly due to my sluggish external hard drive which takes forever to update and save my progress. But it's satisfying to sit back and view what I've accomplished, mashing two of my most favourite but seemingly disparate films into one music video (you'd be surprised how much footage matches the lyrics!) in tune with one of my favourite Bond numbers from Chris Cornell (which IMO, is waaay better than 'Another Way To Die').
I hope you enjoy this ode to Wall-E and James Bond as much as I loved making it. :D
