But there is a gap between this declaration and the behavior of Renault as far as it concern the Fluence z.e.
There are 4000 (world wide) of this model that was one of the pioneer among the EVs.
These cars are equipped with Li-ion batteries that are not designed to operate above 30 deg. centigrade.
So many of the batteries lose capacity much faster than normal.
However Renault refuse to fix or upgrade such battery even it is still under warranty.
The official claim is that this is normal decay.
Such attitude can not place Renault as a leading EV maker and it contradict their commitment
