    Um, in the match I saw Fed is the Man…he’s never played better. Made beating Quong look effortless. Phenomenal!

    Agree that line judging in finals play needs to be better. Not just the players deciding but a judge on each line or artificial vision system used

      Hard to play with bad refs. Quong beaten by crucial challenges with wrong calls by the refs as well.

      yeah Fed was a beast....like Fed even gave him a freebie at 5:04 and couldn't take that one.
      hope QD comes up with better strategy next time.
      if Fed plays like this against Ben John, I think Fed would win. Why is he making so much mistakes against Ben Johns anyways?

    great match. I think Quong needs to vary his game a little bit, though. Sure, you can be mostly a power-player, but you need at least SOME of the soft game. Right now he's like 95/5, and I think it would benefit him to change that to maybe 80/20. Crushing ground strokes when someone is well positioned at the net is not a winning strategy. Sure, you'll hit some impressive winners, but generally you'll get beaten by your opponent's volleys.

    The referee shouldn't call "nonono" when the ball is in the air, even if it seems clearly out. The opposing player might misjudge and attempt to hit the ball.

    • @MikhaillllKing

    To whoever makes these videos please add additional time so you don’t know who wins or loses…. 10 minutes in you can tell who’s going to win the second round because it’s only a 20 minute long video.

    Bro if players are beckoning for judge help, get these guys help. Spend less on shot commentators like this old guy that just bashes the players the whole time and invest in a better judging system where their faces aren’t buried in iPads the whole time. Line having a fault judge and a separate set of line judges. At least for finalist matches my god HAHA at least the video quality is getting better recently. For a while it was seeming like USA pickleball was trying to sabotage itself

      Couldn’t agree more the line judges have to be implemented they shouldn’t be worries about calling there own shots

    is it just me, or did QD just get owned by Fed? that first match score of 11-6 doesn't show how dominant Fed was.
    Fed's read and ball placement against QD on both matches were ridiculous.......

    This match pretty much proves that Ben was burned out in his loss to Quang. Ben won a total of 8 golds in the 5 weeks, including 3 golds in singles vs the man right here who dominated Quang preceding their match.

    • @chubun6631
      @chubun6631 9 месяцев назад +2

      Possibly, but it is also the matchups. Duong always does well against Ben and poorly against Fed. Somehow Fed can handle the tennis style of plays very well and has little trouble beating Duong, Sock, ... while others like Ben, Tyson seem struggle a bit.

    • @gambler213
      @gambler213 9 месяцев назад

      @@chubun6631 Did you forget Ben handled him easily a little over a week ago? Ben does lose occasionally, and he was clearly off his game a few days ago for good reason. He plays much more pickleball than anyone else because he plays so much more. He dominates every division.

    • @chubun6631
      @chubun6631 9 месяцев назад

      @@gambler213 IIRC Ben lost the first set. Wouldn't call that easily. Again, IIRC Fed beat Duong 'easily' every time not occasionally when they met.

    • @gambler213
      @gambler213 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@chubun6631 The last two games were 4 and 6. The people who bring up Ben losing never take into account he's playing many more matches than anyone else in the tournaments.

    • @chubun6631

      Just compare that match to this match, and to me it's quite clear that Fed is much more comfortable playing against Duong compared to Ben. If for every lost you blame some external conditions, not only you disrespect your opponent but also disrespect yourself and your ability.
