ahh, the basic simple incandescent lamp as "fault current limiter". it's better to use two in series, in case of an fault within the bulb itself (had that happen many times before) KERPOW and multiple smoke emissions, shattered glass, tripped breakers. CFL and LED not much better in that sense(especially when used outdoors/very damp/wet locations).
