I play on controller now because of injury but kb&m is so satisfying. I just hate the report system the game uses. I’m crim 3 about 200 from iridescent and I run into top 250 cheaters who blatently cheat and when you report them you get banned. I’m lowkey done with cod until verdansk comes back
my guess would be that the anticheat isnt fully employed in the beta so that being said when you do get reported in the beta you get higher on the shadow ban list (shadow ban for the most part is when the games cheat script detection {they call it AI anticheat lol} but need to be reviewed further. each game does it slightly differently, essentially its a ban buffer to make sure they actually ban those properly. the reason you got banned could things like drivers, i got banned for using a legit but third party GFX driver on my steamdeck. i pre made an alt to test it and yeah itll ban you if it detect 'dodgy drivers' but without checking public hashes or repos. essentially if youre not complying with certification with drivers the anticheat flags it and bans you right out regardless. you could make a DIY controller with custom drivers and the same ordeal would happen. worst part about this though is the fact that the actual cheaters are using levels of obfuscation to bypass detections, things like DMA and Virtualisation (< 2nd is usually detectable)

So this is mainly a gamepass pc issue, they are banning anyone who gets reported because there are cheaters on gamepass pc. Luckily they have been reverting false bans. I recommend just checking ban appeal status like 24 hours after ban. if you play on steam or battle net you can use whatever input without ban.
saw a video some M&K streamer playing on the practice map to prove a point literally was not moving his mouse at all and for some reason he was getting AA drag so im guessing M&K got a slight AA implemented so it can be on par with controller and now M&K players look mor sus than before because of that?

I don't even think it's a skill thing because I was doing terrible when I got banned and then when I got used to the game and started getting multiple chopper gunners a game that's fine apparently 😂

Im not sure how anyone feels the use of a controller is cheating lol comical however i think the game should always be input controlled matches, if your mk you should play against only mk and controller the same controller only

Because cheating utilizes software that aims for you, and that's exactly what aim assist is. It's software that aims for you, but rather just tuned down. It's not similar, but literally identical to cheating software, except a watered down version of it. This isn't controversial or "my opinion" but rather a basic understanding of what aim assist actually is.
Nothing new i have been shadow banned last 3 cods. Because there is no shadowbanned lobby in the beta you get the permanent ban screen. For some reason the makers hate mnk players and every year it getting worse. So because of al this after like getting every cod game this year gonna be my first cod i wont buy.

@@bubbadub-joo7 I was banned when playing normally. Afterwards I went on my wife's account and didn't get banned while using controller, even when entering a reverse boosted lobby. Seems like they ban based off of reports vs banning from actual cheating or reverse boosting

A temp ban is nothing more than a shadow ban currently since they don't have shadow banned lobbies. Ricochet is hitting people for macro's and scripts, why Breadman and the rest of the KBM streamers wont even play it. 75 percent of the KBM community use scripts to control recoil

This happened to me as well on the first day of the open beta after a couple of matches, but I got completely temp banned from the entire Cod Hq.
