    I had this exact stereo cabinet! My parents bought it for me in 1984. I used it for years!

      I turned them on tonight and was watching them. I think this may become a thing. I've seen those accent walls with hidden LED strips... goals!

    I am so impressed with this. I was so confused when you mentioned the space ship design. But at the end I could really see the resemblance. Looks great

      Foreshadowing!! I didn't see it until I put the legs on and realized it resembled a space ship. 😀

    I love this! It’s really fun. I recognized this cabinet as the same design Marissa (Miss Flips) did a few weeks ago. So much creativity with both of you. The end result on both these cabinets was totally different and totally fabulous! I love the monochromatic look of this one with all the different sheens, patterns and textures. Excellent use of lights, too!🌸

      Thank you Deborah! Its funny because I saw her Instagram posts and asked if it was the same one I was watching on FB Marketplace. It was and she told me to get it, and here we are! So happy to have worked on this and been able to try some different ideas out.

    Your retro atomic space age perspective came to life before our eyes thank you for taking us along the ride. I love how you mentioned the cabinet done by missflips as well its amazing how different the same piece can turn out depending on which direction you take it. I love them both!

      I want more of these cabinets to do something totally different with it. I really think small cabinets might be my second favorite thing to work on. Missflips cabinet was amazing! Loved her glass and how she used the lines. Thank you for encouraging me to be my weird self! ❤️

    This is so cool! Definitely not your average furniture flip...yours or anyone's. I think a child would love this in their room. My grandchildren love things with lighting features. Great out-of-the-box idea! 🙂👍

    This is so great! As soon as you started using the tape, I thought, "Oh, just like MissFlips!", but I had no idea until the end that she was the original inspiration for this piece. The LED lights were an awesome contribution, and I loved the window film.

    Squee!!! I love it!!! My indoor plants have to hang high in areas with no launching pads, due to my 4-legged family members. My husband saw this, and it doubled his determination on planning to add the old school stereo stuff to our system... 🤣🤣🤣

      I actually just recently got hanging plant baskets for this reason! Going to be a complicated wiring situation with the old and new stuff! Maybe it will all work out though! ❤️

    I love the idea of the tone on tone designs, now I want to experiment with high gloss stencils over matt in the same color, I love the subtlety of the technique!

      I have been contempating getting a few of the older oak veneer cabinets that were used for TVs and using them for organization in the Garage. I almost wonder if the square ones could be cut down or taken apart and remade into something else. 🤔

    To remove stubborn things, like etched water stains, we use brillo or steel wool. Make sure it's wet.

    OVEN CLEANER? I’m seeing all these videos where people are using oven cleaner to strip wood furniture. It looks so simple, wondering if you’ve tried it and what your thoughts are?

      Big ole nope. Not meant for wood or porous surfaces. Doesn't work that well. Strong fumes. May as well just use an actual stripping spray or paste. Know Can Do has a video on Oven Cleaner that I recommend taking a look at.

      It was the Blue Ridge Heavy Duty Box cutter. I believe I got this from Target a while ago late at night because I couldn't find my other. Sharp heavy duty blade will cut like butter. I did add one to the list that I would buy off Amazon if I needed a replacement.
