Thanks for the video. It is good to see when you make a mistake, you handle it and make changes/adjustments.

We all make mistakes. Its how we recover and move on that really matters.

I'm with you, dude. I HATE hand-sanding. I do quite a bit of woodworking, and probably 80-90% of the splinters I get are from hand-sanding! Great video.

Great jig! I like to use a block plane to break the sharp corners, sure beats sanding.

+Emily the Rabbit thanks. I've been playing around with the block plane lately.

I think the ones I have are made by Avery, but the backing from any should work the same.

Nice ! But too many shop tools. Many of us don't have that many nice electric tools ! And why didn't you try it out before you made the video ? How do you know if it will work ?

So, when you have bought your Table saw, Belt sander, Oscillating sander, Router table, (with a spare bit of 'T track') Drill press, Nail gun and made an elaborate mitre jig, and a work shop to put it all in, you can make a one off, home made ten dollar paracord jig with things just lying around.
Yes it is a nicely finished piece but your average DIYer doesn't have access to tools of that calibre, especially to make a "one off" tool.
    Otherwise, a great video. 👍

...great job...BUT...you could have made it a little more simple...not everyone has the equipment that you do...your knowledge and expertise is like shooting a fruit fly with a shotgun...I built one about 10 yrs ago and still functional...not as elaborate as yours...LOL...thank you...!!!
