Its a nice car, but honestly speaking, it will be hard to sell for a 470k pricing based on the Malaysian market. It stands a better chance at 350K. However that's just my personal opinion.
Agreed. No one in their right mind will buy a VW at that price when you can get an XC90 for quite a bit cheaper (purely based on brand positioning). Expected it to be 100k more than the Tiguan Allspace, at most.
Touareg - rm470k, 5 seater (?)
XC90 - rm430K+, 7 seater (safety)
RX500h - rm500k, 5 seaters (reliability)
X5 - rm486k, 5 seater (performance)
Porsche Cayenne - ~rm600k , 5 seaters (performance)

It’s a really nice car. Really wish the price was 350 ish. It would be a no brainer . . . . .
Agreed. Good news is there are demo units with low mileage (2k km) for around 370k from Sime Darby. With a bit of negotiation, 350k is realistic
the rear space seems quite tight for a 400++k SUV.
Seems CRV has more rear leg room but of course, other aspects will lose
