The 60s and 70s was an awesome time for concept cars. Some impressive models, by todays standards still look futuristic. I guess if micheal jackson was gonna change into a car in his "moonwalker" movie, it had to be this car. Sure has that sci-fi look about it.

At the rate of how they make and design cars we'll be driving one like this with a cold fusion reactor in...2100, if the car manufacturers ever get off of their complacent butts.

Probabilmente finirà nascosta in qualche parco macchine privato , chissà dove. Dovrebbe essere patrimonio pubblico, in queste occasioni si dovrebbe organizzare una raccolta e acquistarla donandola ad un museo
The engine and much of the other innards of the car are from the Lancia Fulvia Coupe. The designer of this prototype was actually Marcello Gandini who has been bertone's major designer for decades - think Stratos (the production car as well!), Montreal, Miura, Countach, Diablo...

How many proto have been done? We can find pictures of this one whole silver,but there are pictures of a silver one with triangle rear motor door in black; and a bronze/orange one ? Is it the same car?
That it just about the weirdest looking driving experience i can think of, one of the most inpracticle cars i can think of, but one of the greatest un-made prototypes of all time. This is much better than a Gtbycitroen or or lamborghini miura bertone. My favorite prototype.

The description of this is spot on a 1970 Lancia Concept Zero, filmed in 1983 for the docu 'Too Fast To Race' which was re-released onto DVD in 2003.
