Indiana University President Pamela Whitten honors John Mellencamp with a bronze statue in a ceremony on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana on October 18, 2024. After giving a short speech, John calls his band to the stage to play stripped down, acoustic versions of the following songs:
