Wonderful informative walk through. I wonder if you have any thoughts on the thickness limits of paper used in the tray for cut sheets? I would like to use 60 lb polar white (translates to .188 mm or 161.78 gsm) paper stacked in the tray. Any thoughts on whether this is acceptable?
I love Epson, I have used their printers since 1993 when I first used an impact printer. I would love to buy one of these printers for my packaging designing, but I would need to wait till I move to a bigger place.
If you buy the commercial, and want to use the it for more photography prints, could it be primed with the light light black instead of violet? It seems like it really doesn't matter as long as you make the decision at setup?
It is nice video , thanks for sharing useful information . Would you please share your experience on canvas prints using p5000 or p900 . Thanks in advance
I understand that this might be frustrating. Going forward I think we will see that on all Epson Large Format Photographic Printers. As the resolution gets higher, the finer the tolerances become. Epson can't control how 3rd parties are loading their ink carts. I even saw a company refill it in open air! One little foreign particle drops in, your toast you know. I personally wouldn't run 3rd party ink though my $1700 printer the same way I wouldn't use 3rd party batteries on my $3000 5Div.

thanks for the video, i have a question for you, to avoid print head blocked, how long i need to have a printing process for this machine?
I've read a review online where they claim that it makes a very high-pitched annoying sound while printing, is this true with the one you've tried?
Hello! Well it does make some noise when it prints. I haven't found it to be annoying though. But I am used to the 4900 which sounds very similar.
How about a review on your experiences with this printer? There is very little information on real world experience.
I like this idea! Let me see what I can do. Thank you for the suggestion! - Jon
Thank you! I look forward to your review.
Does it print on double side PAPERS
If the paper has a inkjet coating then it should but you would have to manually flip and print.
Win can you do some more videos on the Epson sc-p5000
Hello! Is there anything in specific that you would like to see?

HOW WOULD THIS PRINTER WORK WITH HEAT TRANSFER PAPER
I have to admit we have not tried it with transfer paper. Sorry about that. Do you plan to transfer to shirts?
YES I WILL. I HAVE EPSON 4800 WITH ULTRACHROME INK FOR HEAT TRANSFERS ITS BEEN MY WORK FOR MY BUSINESS FOR 10 YEARS ITS TIME TO UPGRADE
I assume that this one features Epson's famous "fear-of-god" ink control. Yes? (Prevention of using custom, non-Epson inks.)
