Nice boat! I’m looking at a 93’ 230 horizon to purchase. My wife’s uncle has a 96’ 240 down at the lake and has had it 21 years, hasn’t given him really much issues. But his has the Volvo pinta outdrive. The one I’m looking at is an OMC cobra. Which from what I hear are good out drives and have aftermarket parts available. It’s the OMC King Cobra outdrive to avoid.
What engine Coulter that ya have to pull engine..Pull top off that outdrive and drain fluid..But I'm just throwing ideas before motor pull..Be easier then a vehicle tho..Stop by shouted out..✌️
I have already checked the prop hub. I have a spare prop that i know is good. Still have the same issue. You can smell the rubber burning in the engine cabin.
