Me and three my buddies (RIP Randy) made that hike probably 20-25 years ago, and made the exact same turns you did. On our way down we found a nice frontside wind lip that we hiked for a couple hours, all while taking in the Bluebird day like yours. I still have a couple pics of that day, my buddy had a video cam (before GoPro) and took some our best turn video shots we’ve ever made. It is a sick line
Baker might not get as many dry powder days as other places, but there’s a reason Mt Baker snow has been in the Top 5 “Best Powder” several times. I’ll take PNW powder over any
