I'm not trying to defend anybody, but Matt is a good vocalist, he definitely deserves some credit for his vocal style and lyrical intelligence. On the other hand though, I do prefer Adam to him, because Adam was the singer I grew up with. I definitely think Matt is okay at singing the old songs, but since Adam wrote them, I think only he can sing them with the same emotion.

The editors blocked out the audience volume, it was obviously a lot louder there. Also, Barry's guitar sound was more noticeable and not condensed like in this video
Because he wants to focus more on his vocal performance rather than split his effort between two different instruments. That's why they hired Barry to begin with. so Adam wouldn't have to play guitar the whole time.

Transit of Venus is criminally underrated.
It was overlooked because Adam left the band when it was out for a year at most
It had 3 AMAZING singles that became some of my favorites.
The rest of the album was garbage.
