@@brodygoalie so it is not advisable to ever add fertilizer to brand new sod, sod farms, have it so hopped up on fertilizer when they are growing it because they’re trying to get it to grow quickly and get it off their property as quick as possible so usually when it comes to you, you have the chance of burning your new lawn by adding fertilizer. It’s one of the worst things I see people do when they get sod.So do not add anything else usually so it is good for anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks depending on what fertilizer they send it out with.
So exactly how many weeks apart can i spray green charge? You mix green effect with green charge? If not when do you use green effect if you are also using green charge. And hiw about the other products they offer? Thank you. Love your vids
Greene county fert offers awesome products. I have used them in my yard since 2018, and regardless of products I’ve tested, they get my front yard because of how well they do. GreenCharge will give nitrogen with back side goodies of micros and humic GreenEffect will give you iron and a little binge with some good micros They can be ran together easily, I like to put my GreenCharge down weekly and GreenEffect can be weekly to every 4 weeks, you just dial the amount. Green effect is one that I run by itself, just because I like it to sit on the grass for six hours before I water it in. I do water in my green charger immediately but inherently you could do them in the same mix, let us sit on the grass for the same amount of time and then watered in after six hours after it has foliar fed for a quicker green up. Thanks means a lot!
@@seanmclaughlin7415 naw, went up there to hang out with him. Was talking over some projects we are going to work on this week, I got a wild hair and asked him the question with my phone rolling..
Thanks for the feedback. I double checked it on 3 sources, doesn’t seem overly low. But when i correct my audio I only go to low green portion so I don’t over blast things. Would you mind dbl checking with a different source? Glad you enjoyed it.
I'm just starting out with these products but I ordered pretty much their whole line. LOL. I'm doing Humic. Air 8 and RGS this week to start on my Zoysia. I was planning on Green Effect but I also have green charge. I'm assuming you would not use both so I lean toward Green Effect for the iron as my first application. Also, I'm assuming you use these as a replacement for your granular applications? I still have some granular stuff left over.
You can still use the granular products, you just substitute them in an out. So for you, I would use your granular products to hold during the summer by putting them down light light while using green charge or green effect over the top for the deep coloration, it really depends on your granular product how we would want to run them though, so let me know what you have there. Difference between effect and charge, effect is going to just green it up and not cause a lot of top growth, while charge green it up and gives you growth at the same time. They can be used together, but definitely at half rates or less, as you’ll be getting a lot of iron.
@@TheGreenerLawn Thank you. I typically go light and frequent on my granular. Ie a 18-18-18 or a 24-0-11 type install, depending on whats available at my local store and how my soil numbers are for the season. I do every 4-6 weeks but I keep it light. I am planning on spraying Humic, RGS, and Air-8 today or tomorrow. I am not sure if I can do Green Effect with that so I was planning on Green Effect later and possibly combining another product at that time.
So for someone looking to move into spoon feeding a lawn, what frequency would you use these products? I use Greene Effect starting in July in summer to green up but would like to move to a spoon feeding program. I currently use Pete Denny's recommended granular Protene products. Thanks for your content.
Spoon fed is bi monthly or weekly. I personally run them weekly at 2 oz a week on green charge and geez effect and bi monthly I use rgs 3 oz and air8 at 6 oz. This will pare nicely with Pete stuff. Glad you enjoy it!
I use Greene Effect once annually in mid-spring (which is April where I live) at 12 oz per thousand with great results, even though the label says 8 oz. Really kicks in the nitrogen. I like Greene Effect because you don't have to water it in unlike everything else so I apply it in the evening and leave it. So far I've only been using it once a year to kick things off but I do like your spoon feed idea. Good luck.
Yup, awesome riming for it, but be care it’s not to soggy so you cause issues walking on it. Rgs is an awesome hit to really jumpstart the roots. It should come with enough nutrients(for 4-8 weeks), so it’s just the root stimulants what will assist here. I normally have folks run it as they get it and every 2-4 weeks depending on time they get have to get it out.
I live in Brookings Oregon and I’ve always been able to keep my lawn green and thick, this year I’ve used the same product and it has a lot of dry/dead spots and then one spot the grass just stopped growing and is just kinda mud/dirt. Idk what to do but I may try out this and see if it works!
Looking Great. !! I use RGS, AR8, Humic 12,building soil and roots for last 8 mos. Do you think Cytogro(50 ppm cytokinin) verses SEA-K( 200 ppm cytokinin, plus giberillins) better for promotiong root growth and less top growth?
Growth using sea kelp (cytokinin) in either form is mainly focused on root development… but the side effect of better roots is more grass blades, not so much vertical growth. You’re fine on either for that mode. What are your nitrogen inputs?
@@TheGreenerLawn Thanks for answering. Nitrogen inputs: spoon feed Liquid Greene Punch, Green Effect, flagship granular, and alfalfa meal, chicken feed and chicken poo, little milorganite.
