Love it. I switched to this yesterday to try it and ended up experimenting as an offhealer/dps in Gen and Laz. Crushed both dungeons and I'm addicted now. Brings back my Holy Paladin nostalgia. Switching a couple passives after watching this. Great video as always brother
@@daemonkisure2952 for the way I personally use it, yes 100%. I enjoy the void gauntlet if I’m the main healer as I think it’s incredible as an off hand to the Life Staff. But this LS / Hammer build is the best I’ve found for solo content and pvp as well as an off-healer. It may not do as much damage as the hatchet or void blade, but it does enough damage and gives the obvious CC that is invaluable for kiting and staying alive. Unless I really mess something up, I’m just not gonna die lol
I love this build a lot. i've always been a hybrid melee healer in any mmo i play (Paladin/WoW or Warrior Priest/Warhammer Online). I do try out your other builds for PvP and War too. My gearing needs work but I'll do my best to get proper gear to be as good as you.
Just transferred to Eden... didn't realize you were on this server sir! Love the content, keep it up! It has definitely helped me with my healing ability, amongst other things.
First off, great build as always, keep it up man! I actually just went Life Staff/Bow today (I still need to level most DEX weapons) and would really like to see what you come up with that weapon combo. So far I enjoy it a lot more than I thought I would. 😂
Funny thing is that i stumbled on a very similar build when tweaking the pally build you put out last week. I tank... a lot... but don't like the dps output. This allows for a simple swap from the hammer to the sword and back based on your groups' needs or for different mobs that are weak to a certain kind of damage, etc. Thanks again, Lemoni.
Last session I accidently aggro'ed a whole fort in shadow mountains while questing, like 12+ lvl 63 mobs on me. I was lvl 58, with trash gear. I survived, and killed them all using a similar build. While lvl 51 I finished my lvl 60 faction quest. This build is a monster for PvE. I just use a little different set up, I get rid of the touch perks and the ultimate on the left tree, get rid of light embrace and take all Orb perk instead. For the hammer I get shockwave and the middle perk on the right tree, and the right perk on the left tree. My emergency heals comes from the two hammer perks instead of light embrace, and potions too.

I think what makes me excited to go back to the war hammer as an off hand with this build is I finally have a use for a pair of pants I recently picked up from a drop that gave me my very first fortifying sacred ground perk. Unfortunately it rolled strength on it as one of the main stats but with this I can actually make use of it
Hammer is by far my favourite weapon to play with LS. I ran a similar build in a War yesterday and I was a brick wall that could not be killed and just pumped out heals, damage and CC constantly in the thick of battle. As I mentioned I was testing spear and with LS and VG and it just isn't as good as the hammer because it has no GRIT and you just get staggered constantly. Great vid btw!
I highly recommend the perk "Acceleration" (Reduce warhammer cooldowns by 7% when hitting a target with hammer debuffs) and weaving in 2 light attacks between your stuns, you can permastun them that way. Do we know if the Amber works again? I see you are using the tier 1 gem. The Heavy attack skills are awesome, heal on heavy attack, rend on heavy attack, love it. I might actually remove Keen, it's amazing but you can still get 100% crit strike in the back and i think i'd prefer more utility. I use heavy armor with a "hearty" perk on my gem (+stamina), this still allows me to sidestep 3X with a full stamina bar. You actually practice dodging and weaving. When under attack, stand on your sacred ground, dodge (in the circle), stun, heavy attack, stun, heavy attack, dodge, path of destiny, dodge (into lifestaff to heal) etc etc. In PVE you can use the same build, i use more light attacks though, cooldowns drop faster so permastuns. Oh a great thing about going focus with str build is that you don't waste the amulet (ininity gem?)'s 22 str so it's useful AND you can buy a lot of gear cheap because it has focus/con or str or str/con on it with healing perks.

Life Staff/Void Guantlet with 50 INT, 150+ Focus, 100 Con is a much much much better Healing/DPS build. Because the Void Gauntlet scales off of Focus AND 50 INT means +10% CRITS. So much more DPS with Void/Life Staff.
@Lemoni I have been using your original Hammer/LS build since level 24 and loving it 😊. Just one question though with this build are still using the flawed cut Amber in your hammer or have they fixed the bug? And we need to use the higher tier Amber? Tyia
my build is similar, at 257 focus/200 con So long as you use intensify, and make use of rolls and all other healing buff abilities, yes it will work, i can chunk heal for 6k's with this build im using, but i also have a sacred ring, you can get a really good ring thats level 45 from depths, its even good at level 60 since it has 7% sacred, use diamonds, and stay far away to spam heavies to keep the 30% healing buff, dodge every time your over 51 stamina, get blessed on your lifestaff, etc. Works like a charm, and keep in mind if you have sacred up keep it for when you need it, beacon heals for just as much now and anyone in sacred ground takes another 50% bonus healing so you can instant fill most players hp with intensify stacked, dodging, throwing sacred ground down and immediately using lights embrace on them, itll chunk heal for like 8k+ depending on your gear and if they have divine or not.

Would you recommend this as a leveling healer build? If so can you break it out by every 10 levels as to what to take? If not what healer hybrid can you effectively level with and still learn instance healing on ?

Question: how will effectiveness scale in comparison to expertise/gearscore? I'm going to try this buil dout when I get home, but my combined GS (recently hit 60) is only at 571. I prefer healing, and I like the hammer, because I'm either not healing enough or not making enough damage. Thanks! My build out is similar to yours in terms of gearing, minus some Keen and Fortify.
@@LemoniGames Oh no, I don't dispute that. Your video was pretty solid and you did a good explanation. I'm only questioning how effective is gear with Gear Score of 480 WM and 520 EXP, versus gear with a gear score of 600 WM and 51 2EXP? Something just seems a little off. More simply, since expertise is not yet fully implemented, if I have an average GS of 568, same perks, build, and gear as you, will I perform better with 580 or 600? Same perks and stats. I've been toying around with an idea for 0 Threat PVE Healer: Full T5 Carnelians(-80%), Staff w Kind(-14%) & Earring w Beloved(-14%) Its purpose would be healing for: Expeditions, Elite Runs, Corrupted Portals. Can run full light armor because of 0 aggro from mobs. Do you think its a good idea?
I also am not sure if they fixed the amber gems or not....I notice my hatchet doing like 950 non crit light attacks and like 1300-1400 crit light attacks....I love the hatchet but this hammer build looks like so much fun

My hammer is still low level, like 10 or so, should I take these points in this same order you listed as I level it up, or would there be a different order to go with as I gain my skill levels?
QQ: I always play with a friend who plays Paladin (sword/lifestaff), would it make sense for me to play WH/Lifestaff? We do a lot of farming with PVP on, OPR and questing. I sorta recall that beacon/sacred do not stack so playing 2 lifestaves would be wasted?

Does STR on your gear actually raise the damage from your hammer if you have an amber gem socketed? Your FOC is highest, so the hammer should scale off of FOC instead of STR. Or does the FOC only affect the converted nature damage?
Warhammer is a str stat weapon for it's strike damage, so yes, strength will always boost it's damage. Gems only take a % of it's damage and converts it to the element while using Focus/Int to raise it some more. IF you don't have int of focus as a main stat, the weapons primary stat is used. So if you're pure STR build with a ruby gem, it'll use STR as a modifier instead of INT.
How much of this greatness is dependent on gear score besides being level 60? With 1.2 my GS is basically crap because of the changes bringing in Aptitude.
@@LemoniGames Thanks! Just learned that your old server is being merged into ours (Themiscrya). Total population was down to 155 and when someone just looked only 15 were currently online playing. So moving to Eden was a good idea. ;)
How do you get your cool down for Shockwave to drop so fast. I have this same build with the perks you said and I my cooldown might drop 2 seconds when I use heavy charged heavy attack. Yours drops down fast.
@@LemoniGames Great I found a Hammer with Refreshing Move and where I do 10% more damage (light and heavy) and this build is so much fun. I was taking on 7 lvl 63 guys and they trapped me in a corner I was just knocking them down and kept up my health and ran though them.
i would have taken thse 9 points out of strength and put into constitution and then use a cheap 20 con food whenever i want the 10% crit reduc buff from con. or u can get the 20 focus food and take 250 focus buff. either way
Sounds fun! I'm sick of dying so I think im finnaly going to level a light staff and try this out, I love WH. However, I'd pay to test out the GA / VG build as well if you need more video ideas hahaha
@@LemoniGames using your build now. Lots of fun, a lot less mad clicking like void gauntlet. Big smash hardly ever misses where as void blade I had to be bang on, void blade the step through on attacks is also annoying. Hammer takes the stress out of pve
WTF I have copied your build pretty much exactly the same but your health is higher with 121 CON?!?! I have 126 CON and my health is only like 9876, I also have the same amulet with 9% health. I can eat an item boost to hit 150 CON but my health still falls short at 10547....Any idea why Lemoni?

anyone else has the problem where they hit an enemy (Musket) and it does little to none damage at all? Before the patch I was able to hit up to 3.5k damage. No if Im lucky up to 2.5k but most of the time only 1.2k But at the same time I get hit for 3-4 k by one shot from someone??? I had some musket 1v1 and I dealt max no damage at all against someone with a similar musket and light armor (same as mine) Full Fraction with Pristine Onyx in every slot? I feel like im back at Lvl 40 playing against a lvl 60... WTF?! Is this a bug or am I missing smth? I know about the new way the system is suposed to work... but still... wtf...
@@LemoniGames I´ll try reinstalling and see if it was rly a bug. Couldnt find anything in the forums... Just thought its weird xD They wanted to level the playfield so lower level and lower GS Player can fight back and now I cant do shit xD Before the patch I had atleast a chance with my bought Rapier and Musket. Now I feel like Im only able to tickle them xD Lets hope its just a rare bug and reinstalling fixed it (Damage against Mobs is still the same)
So you show this whole build and say how much you like it then you show the build in PVE and PVP the problem is look at your powers for the Hammer. -- Your build instruction tells people to select - Shockwave but in both PVE and PVP you are clearly using Path of Destiny which would be different build then what you showed on this build. I have watched almost all of your Videos like the lay out and formula can you help us here.

Aswell life staff plus void gauntlet with oblivion, orb, weapon and last passive on the left deals cool damage and heals on pvp
im a fan, that shit was pretty sick. Im going to try this build out nice to try something new.

Only thing I would change is going to 200 Con. The armor bonus is worth it while running medium

Can we get a war build? Currently lifestaff, void gauntlet with over 280+ focus and 160(200+food) con. Running medium
do the T2 amber gems scale into higher dmg than tier5 like they do with the Int Gems? is that why you dont have pristine in the hammer?
Is there a total damage difference between higher and lower tier gems? or does the higher tier gem just convert more dmg into elemental

QQ: I always play with a friend who plays Paladin (sword/lifestaff), would it make sense for me to play WH/Lifestaff? We do a lot of farming with PVP on, OPR and questing. I sorta recall that beacon/sacred do not stack so playing 2 lifestaves would be wasted?
Did you purposely get only Arboreal I on your hammer? Is it bad to go for Arboreal 2-4?
Is this build better than Undying Paladin with S&S/LS for solo farming elites and chests?

Does STR on your gear actually raise the damage from your hammer if you have an amber gem socketed? Your FOC is highest, so the hammer should scale off of FOC instead of STR. Or does the FOC only affect the converted nature damage?
@@LemoniGames Looked it up, thanks. TIL STR does still matter for this build. Makes gearing much easier, since I was trying to find FOC hammers !
Warhammer is a str stat weapon for it's strike damage, so yes, strength will always boost it's damage. Gems only take a % of it's damage and converts it to the element while using Focus/Int to raise it some more. IF you don't have int of focus as a main stat, the weapons primary stat is used. So if you're pure STR build with a ruby gem, it'll use STR as a modifier instead of INT.
How much of this greatness is dependent on gear score besides being level 60? With 1.2 my GS is basically crap because of the changes bringing in Aptitude.
@@LemoniGames Thanks! Just learned that your old server is being merged into ours (Themiscrya). Total population was down to 155 and when someone just looked only 15 were currently online playing. So moving to Eden was a good idea. ;)

Tks, I was expecting that the rend was additional da,age but it’s a debut? Hence no ticks in way rend would apply in other mmos.
How do you get your cool down for Shockwave to drop so fast. I have this same build with the perks you said and I my cooldown might drop 2 seconds when I use heavy charged heavy attack. Yours drops down fast.
@@LemoniGames Great I found a Hammer with Refreshing Move and where I do 10% more damage (light and heavy) and this build is so much fun. I was taking on 7 lvl 63 guys and they trapped me in a corner I was just knocking them down and kept up my health and ran though them.

i would have taken thse 9 points out of strength and put into constitution and then use a cheap 20 con food whenever i want the 10% crit reduc buff from con. or u can get the 20 focus food and take 250 focus buff. either way
you can't combine 2, thwarting strikes or trenchant strikes

@@LemoniGames using your build now. Lots of fun, a lot less mad clicking like void gauntlet. Big smash hardly ever misses where as void blade I had to be bang on, void blade the step through on attacks is also annoying.

WTF I have copied your build pretty much exactly the same but your health is higher with 121 CON?!?! I have 126 CON and my health is only like 9876, I also have the same amulet with 9% health. I can eat an item boost to hit 150 CON but my health still falls short at 10547....Any idea why Lemoni?

anyone else has the problem where they hit an enemy (Musket) and it does little to none damage at all?
Before the patch I was able to hit up to 3.5k damage. No if Im lucky up to 2.5k but most of the time only 1.2k
But at the same time I get hit for 3-4 k by one shot from someone??? I had some musket 1v1 and I dealt max no damage at all against someone with a similar musket and light armor (same as mine)

So you show this whole build and say how much you like it then you show the build in PVE and PVP the problem is look at your powers for the Hammer. -- Your build instruction tells people to select - Shockwave but in both PVE and PVP you are clearly using Path of Destiny which would be different build then what you showed on this build. I have watched almost all of your Videos like the lay out and formula can you help us here.
My takeaway from this video is that healing and heavy armor still is broken... No reason to come back.
