- hey guys this week I'm sharing my most recent project in my living room and entryway makeover. I tackled some electrical work and added a plug for my TV. This created a seamless look so I now do not have any cords showing and running down my wall. Once I had the new outlet all wired in I had to patch up the hole in that wall I had to cut to install the new outlet. The final project to complete this TV project was building a frame for around my TV. This took the seamless cordless TV and gave it the final touch to take this project to the next level! I hope you like this project I think it made such a different in the cleanliness of living room having no cords showing on my TV wall.

Oh thank you so much!
Mailey, you put the "Do" in DIY! It's so good to see your process in learning new skills and the beautiful outcome of all that hard work. 😻
I'm so glad you liked the video and project. A ton on my projects scare me but I rarely get to do projects that I'm a total lost the whole way through. But hey even if you confused you can still figure it out! 😂
Girl! Growing your skills; so proud of all your accomplishments, Mailey! Your home is lovely ♥️🙏
Thank you so much! It scary trying new things but it is doable! 🥰
Great job, as always! Your attention to detail is refreshing!!
Oh wow thank you! My attention to detail was definitely a learned skill. 🥰
I LOVE IT!! LOOKS GREAT!💯🤓👍
PS: I have a brother who knows electricity too so I was TOTALLY relating to your phone calls to him! 😂🤣 Now, if he just did plumbing, I'd be set!🤪
I enjoy watching your channel. Thanks for sharing! I loved your ideas of using pvc trim instead of wood!🤓❤️👍
God bless!🙏❤️
Thank you and haha what would we do without our brothers! 😂 my uncle is a plumber so he gets my facetime calls when I tackle those projects. So glad you like the frame. 🥰
Also, doing your own electrical. Very brave 😮
Thank you so much!
It looks awesome! I love that some projects scare you too.
Oh most projects scare me haha! I just think I'm more confident in some areas and sure of the outcome. This project I wasn't sure what was going to happen.
The frame is beautiful
thank you! 🥰
Great job! I love the frame so much. And I really like that you got a bigger but not giant TV. It looks so good 😍
Thank you so much! I love the six of TV I went with it really fits the space way better! 🥰 thanks so much for watching!
You did it and it looks great!
Thank you! I was thoroughly confused the whole time but it somehow worked out. 😂
Looks stunning!!!
Thank you! 🥰
Love your Chanel always great explanation and ideas 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Cute cat!
Thank you! 😻
Looks amazing! You are so brave!! My dad was a sparky and it terrified me what he did! ❤❤
Oh thank you... I didn't feel brave I just did it scared haha!
Very good job ❤
Thank you so much! 🥰
Awesome video yet again Mailey! You need to have “Actually Practical and Useful DIY’s” in your descriptions! At our new house there is already an outlet in the middle of the wall right where you would put a tv so my husband bought a tv mount but we are saving for the tv. I found one in the basement of our new house from 2020 but the backlights were out so I bought new ones for $25 and replaced them but just as I was putting it back together, we realized, 1, the screen was cracked in the corner and 2, I ripped one of the display ribbons so…it still didn’t end up working though the sound was AMAzing.
haha oh I will definitely add that! very jealous you house already has an outlet. I think my house it too old to have the outlet already on the wall. Oh dang I'm sorry I had a similar thing happen with a TV we were given from my in-laws. That technology for ya it's so finicky.
Hiii I really liked this video, in a vlog style. I love your videos, very happy you are getting more subscribers ❤
Thank you so much! And yes so close to 20K 🥰
Wow, that was alot of work. I need to do this same project but I’m still a bit intimidated. Yours looks great, especially the frame you made. Well done!
I totally get being intimidated. But if there is anything you can learn from me is that you can be confused the whole time and still get it done haha!
Looks so good! The whole vignette with the console, TV, lamp, and decor. Makes a huge difference, too, not having visible cords. Sometimes, the outlets that operate with a switch are only one of them operates with a switch and the otherhas continuous power. Great job with learning a new skill.
Yes my brother asked if that was the case for this outlet. So weird that both the bottom and top plug are switch operated. And thank you so much no visible cords really does make all the difference. 🥰
Great job! Looks great
Thank you so much! 🥰
Mailey, great work. I love the idea of how you mounted that tv with the frame!
Super impressed with how you did the electrical work.
I pretty much learned most of what ive done from RUclips.
Would be really interested to learn how you got your mitered corners to match up so pretty! 👍
Hopefully my recent video helped answer your questioned! I'm so glad you like the set up I'm really happy with the whole TV wall. 🥰
You did a fantastic job! It looks beautiful. You are so brave to try such a complicated project.
thank you so much! And I like to think I'm just cheap and couldn't imagine paying someone to do something I could stumble my way through haha! 😂😂😂
It looks so so good! Now I want to do the same in my living room. But it is complicated because of the structure of the walls in Germany. No chance you just saw a whole in…
Oh interesting I'll have to look at different building styles in different countries. and thank you so much so glad I was able to figure it out.
Slay
haha thank you! 🥰
It’s really cute ❤.
Do you have TV in your basement? Might be cool to have a big projector down there for movies. 🍿
OMG you read my mind that's my plan for my basement. I painted the walls white so I could project right onto the walls.
👍🏻
