I think Fauna straight up triggered one of the biggest shifts in a HoloEN project just due to her introduction of another gambling system that was handled... not the greatest?
Mococo was shunned, beated up, falsely accused of a crime she did not commit only because she pulled a small move for karma... and ended up in a trial for attempted murder based of a false accusation that was done by the voices on Nerissa's Head and attempted scam that ended up in a hit on a evil company with 10k.

It's wild to think that Shiori is the only member of the scarlet wand faction that' has a clean record.
And remember that this was advertised as a KH like adventure with pretty colors, and instead we got Konosuba if it was a PSA against gambling.

I mean to be fair we did kind of witness the number order got changed by fauna last night when she spun the wheel 😅 and mococo did endure pain and suffering when run out of town for a accusation about a bounty she never placed. 2k was justified and no my doggo isn't responsible for faunaMart employees being bad at math and told her 638 tickets, sounds like it's a mistake on their end 😝 plus faunaMart tried to "smooth" things out with a fine printed coupon, there's acknowledgement of wrongdoing there. The CEO had to barricade herself into hiding with the cash 😅

To be fair also, 8000 was more than enough for compensation for damages also with the coupon!. In the beginning, she also chased down Nerissa with her claws out demanding for money screaming out (very cutely), thought elizabeth's duel recommendation causing this to extend further when it was simply ended, and pretty much forced Nerissa to give her the prize money instead of just waiting. all in all, both sides were damn entertaining to watch buwahah. I'm just glad it ended with another extorted payout but with cute kisses and cute reaction from mococo, so life is good.

From a legal perspective, a scam is generally where there is lying involved. When there is a "sales scam", you need enough of a lie that limits the ability for there to be "caveat empor". Basically, if you lead someone to believe they are buying something else - such as REDUCING the chances so greatly for most rare pulls without informing the consumer- then gacha could be a scam.
