You know, I hadn’t noticed that. I have noticed a lot of small changes with this set, I’m thinking about making a video about them all in the next few days
I did see the Gateway game in the store. It is a neat idea for starters, as they do not have any cards, but not as interesting to people like us because by the looks of the box, they have reprints of cards. Although, there is reward packs in there, but they may also be reprints, but maybe not. No details on box. The game does come with a board, an interest to me, but again, I know not what it looks like.
Yeah, I didn’t pick one up on release day but I’m really curious tbh so I’m gonna try pick one up today and make a video about it so you can look forward to that sometime this week 😊
Hypnotic Deduction: you draw 3 cards into your hand and then you take two cards from your hand and place them on top of your deck. So imagine your Ursula deck. This card would have been useful in finding your Mother Gothel card and putting back less useful cards. Also, the Hyena’s name would be pronounced Bons-eye, like the little Japanese tree In Karate kid movie.
Yeah, but then I’d know that I was gonna spend 2 turns drawing 2 not so useful cards. I do think in the right deck it could be useful though, like being able to ink the top card, if you know what that card is then that becomes a much better card
If the token cards wind up turning out to be character collectors cards, I would rather have them instead of puzzles, providing they intend to put out many different characters. Although, they might wind up being a new game, trying to collect them all lol
They are cool but they seem to just be an advert for the Gateway game, so I think personally I’d rather the puzzle pieces but it was kinda fun to try get the set and I think I may try turning some of them into to card dividers for my trove boxes lol
Hi, can you play lets say first released starter deck against this one or you need to build 1st released starter deck to compete against shimmering skies release.
Hi, thanks for your comment. First off, I'm really sorry for taking like a week to get back to you, things have been a little crazy at the Atomic Household the last 2 weeks so only now I'm catching up. The short answer is yes, that is on the slate to record, unfortunately I'm not sure when it's going to happen as soon as I can get it done, it'll be up ready for you to see
I would like to collect the entire Wreck it Ralph set. Therefore, the 2 racers you got, would fit the bill. Not to spoil it for you, but like the starter deck you showed, This series reprints characters from previous sets, like Robin Hood, but apparently, like the deck you showed, there will be variations of the same characters in this series, again like the deck had 3 different Robin Hood’s. That shouldn’t be too much of a spoiler to you, as you obviously just lived through it, but that is something that bothers me. You could slap these statistics and abilities on any character. Why not showcase more characters instead of repeats? Jungle Book: we’ve seen Baloo the bear, Ka the snake appeared in an ability, King Louie the ape, and Shear Khan the tiger. Where is Maugli the Human, Bageria? The Panther (excuse spelling), the elephants? Where is Dumbo and his group? Lady and the Tramp? There is a long list, yet they keep repeating, but probably justify some by changing colors. You have to admit the Robin Hood has now been overdone in Emerald and Steel! How many Friar Tucks have you seen? How about the Rhino guards with the big Halberds? Even Tweedle Dum and Dee hasn’t made the cut yet. I’m surly losing interest. I don’t even have anyone to play with. There isn’t any Lorcana play in my area, only MTG and Pokémon.
Yep, I agree, I’m not sure why we keep going over the same characters over and over, like you say, they have a whole wealth of characters they could use. Tho I am looking forward to having the Rescue Rangers join the game soon
Thanks so much for sharing! 😊
You are so welcome 😊
The one thing that I’m disappointed with is on the first 3 series, the starter decks had a deck list on the spine, so you new what was inside.

Wax on, wax off lol thanks for the assist 😊
