I've been watching Indian movies since I was a kid with my Dada. Aa gale lag ja, Bobby, blackmail, Sholay. If you don't consider those Bollywood I don't know what is. As to the singing and dancing, a lot of modern Bollywood movies don't have those sign and dance numbers. However they were pretty much a staple in the classics.

Slumdog wasn't propaganda. The makers literally didn't have enough money to produce and finish the film. The storytelling and the movie itself was good and it won numerous awards. There are thousands of British movies set in Indian backdrops all didn't get the same recognition. Also it's kind of obnoxious that nowadays people have started thinking that everyone is having a propaganda or agenda against india. Come out of your bubble.

Many people even took screenshot of their posts which praised india and they were somehow removed by twitter. Specially around the recent trend what's wrong with india. There are so many people who are sharing Twitter's biasness. Even small channels or accounts with less than 10k audience get millions of views if they share anti indian stuff. Yet those who have 50K+ ,their audience didn't even get notification.There are podcasts, reports, people with their own experience with Twitter and youtuber shared these views numerous times.

Any Engineer team can do that given he has studied properly. There's no need to be an IITian to do that that's what I was talking about. Indeed most of the IITian are indeed exceptionally capable but, there are many IITian whose biggest achievement in life is to crack Advance, and that remains true for the rest of there life. A small detail I missed for almost a decade was that Joy's (who died by suicide in the movie) father was the one who discovered the genius of Rancho when he was young solving high standard maths in the classroom.
Most reactors only follow the bandwagon and react to any kind of stuff without even getting any kind of context,

It helps that I have an Indian family that adopted me in a way when I was younger. I am very close with my Dadaji and we watched old classic Bollywood all the time back when I lived in New Delhi with him. (He is the one that taught me Hindi)

Thank you. I think the big difference between me and the others is that I actually have roots in India. I lived there as a kid. I graduated High School in New Delhi and went for a semester in Noida. When I was younger an Indian family adopted me in a way, so I lived with them and learned Hindi very quickly. I have hoped people would understand what you have mentioned. I must say this is how the education system in India and that's the reason I think India produces disciplined and hardworking engineers , doctors and other professionals. Actually that joy lobo scene is a simple yet effective illustration of how creativity is killed in our education system. "You do what you're asked for nothing more nothing less" And for that I think that's the reason why youth of India after graduating prefers more on job hunting rather than creating their own business. Because from the very beginning they are taught and trained to take orders.
