Thank you for going slow to explain chain and blanket stitch. Your stitches are beautiful.

I’m not sure if it’s the best, but it’s what I use!

Hi, need help. I coincidentally bought the same kit and I'm confused about the sequence on felt piece 1. They are spread apart quite significantly. When you applied the sequence, did you thread them without cutting the string or did you cut the string after each one and apply them without running the string from one to the next?

Hi Yesenia! For this stocking on felt piece 1, I did not cut the string between sequence even though they were far apart. What I did do, that I would highly recommend, is tie one knot after each sequence before moving on to the next to keep each one secure, but don’t bother cutting the thread. You have enough thread to do this in my experience.

    How did you start off??

Do you mean how do I start a stitch? Or how do I start the stocking?

What kind of thread did you use for the appliqué? It doesn’t look like anything that comes with the kit, maybe I’m mistaken?

Hi MYST1CALPANDA2! I did use the thread that comes in the kit for the appliqué. When you separate out the strands, they will look much smaller than when they first come out of the package.

Absolutely! Bucilla kits are very beginner friendly! Just take your time and have fun with it. RUclips has a lot of great videos to help you if you are confused on what to do and there are a lot of great Facebook groups where you can ask questions.
