I think Tamika's voice, specifically, is kind of legendary. Her verses/part on "Who can I run to?", "Arms of the one I run to", and "Tonight" are so beautiful. I specifically think her recorded verse on "Tonight" is one of the best verses I've EVER heard, and I'm comparing her against the GREATS. Out of any cover I've heard of that song, NO one comes close. NO ONE.
Tameka Scott and Kandi were the two strongest vocalist of Xscape (In My Opinion) but the problem with Tameka..she was not consistent as a vocalist..she sounded great in some songs singing lead ("Run To The Arms"'< "Who Can I Run To", "What Can I DO")...but sounded flat and off key in others ("Love On My MInd", "Tonight", etc.). she had the range and vocals..she just couldn't give the "Got It" power like Kandi or LaTocha Scott.
Kandi is def a strong vocalist.... listen to Tonight comin mix live... it's a remix of Tonight and Kandi went off. Or listen to Who can I run to... kandi MADE THAT SONG. you hear her throughout the song

Im a diehard Xscape fan and a fan of Kandi..and hands down, Tameka had THE STRONGEST voice..she just needed to learn how to use it w/o being pitchy..but she is the real gusto singer...just becus u sing higher doesnt mean u sing better!!!

These two sisters made Xscape a great group. They could have had any two other girls and the group would have been just as good. Latocha has the prettiest voice and her sister has the strongest voice. They're two amazing singers.
The difference between Tameka Scott and Kandi's vocals are the fact that Kand's range was more diverse than her but Tameka's vocals had the soul. They were the two strongest singers of the four. But Tameka rarely sang lead in Xscape cause JD preferred to have Kandi do all the lead vocals.
P Harris JD did a great job arranging and that shaped the sound of the group. The fans of Xscape were used to hearing Kandi do all the lead singing and LaTocha Scott doing second lead vocalist and all the ab libs.
Both of the sister's can blow there asses off. I can't choose sides. Wish the hell I could blow like that. I love seeing sister's collaborate together. Me and my sister's don't hve a close bond at all.🎤🎶🎧👊👏
I like the chemistry between the two sisters, They are phony like hell...but on a positive side they sing great together. I like the fact that they live regular lives in Atlanta are not part of the played out Celebrity Atlanta Music scene and or Reality Atlanta scene. I have a ?......someone else mentioned sisters..Doesnt Tiny have an older sister who lives in Atlanta? I have never seen nor ever hear Tiny discuss or mentioned her bother or sister .Just something I noticed.
