This special here was the first time I ever saw The Temptations on TV. Too bad I was too young to remember seeing them in previous years, because the way my older brother & two older sisters talked about them at the time they were really something special. This special program here proved how right they were.
Amazing,bro! You know I love them all, but the highlight was definitely Mr.Paul Williams,the baritone master and original choreographer. I can’t stop crying. He was very underrated,but will always be loved by real fans who understand his work in the group. Temptations forever and ever.
I know this is gonna sound crazy.... Seeing Diana Ross with that particular hairstyle while belting out THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM, for a second, I thought I was looking at Barbara McNair! Two different Motown arists, for sure. But Diana was actually looking AND sounding real good on this special! Whatever drama took place behind the scenes, there's no denying the end results.❤
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I love Dennis on I'm Losing You more than David. The Live at London's Talk of the Town album version is even better than this one. And of course no one will ever hold a candle to Paul on For Once In My Life...
