There's a few little interesting nuances from the styles of bagua that I study, but at its core, I have a lot of respect for this guy. Amazing video. love.hils
I hate how people mock people like this if "you" were up against him you would snivle and cry liek a baby and piss your pants just by him looking at you. Amazing.........
Hi all. I am a baby boomer sensei, practicing martial arts for over 40 years: Shototkan, Shorinji Ryu, Jujitsu, Kickboxing. Though introduced to Taijiquan in 1976, I did not truly start internal training till about 7 years ago: Tai chi, qigong and baguazhang. In those years of growth and development, what matters, personally, is all up to you: what you want to learn and benefit.
C MON GUYS... ok i don't say that ba qua is stupid(personally it is the only internal kung fu style i like....)but i have to say that internal styles is more for healing and to find a good way of life. also they are great for self defense. But they are very dificult like tranditional shaolin nan chuan. so the best styles for self defense is wing chuan , hung gar.....because they are more realistic from ba qua....even more it is better for you to learn shaolin chin kung than tai ji breathing...
anyway i think that u are a good guy and if you want to know i have understood some techniches of bagua(i think so) but i don't feel like they can help me in a real fight(maybe it is my fault....)i would like t o tell u that the founder of the style i prectise had been influenced by tai ji(because when the founder liked to learn other styles and he had been taught taiji when he was older than 60...) to sum upi didn't say that any style is generally better than other i just say that for me is
ok maybe you train more muscles in internal styles...even if i think u haven't practiced external styles. anyway i think that there are some external styles that have taken techniches from tai chi and others so as to train all the muscles and in a appropriete way so as in 1-2 years you will be able to use the techniches in a street fight...
thnxs but i want to ask u something...what type of exersice do you do?i wonder if i can practise both in external style and internal and something more i think that every kung fu style is a bit internal because they makes you think in onother way and practise your body to its limits.you also uses power even if there are a lot of "things" and ways to use this power...
Yeah, sorry... that came across a bit harsh. Yes it's very hard to see how internal arts can be used for fighting when you don't understand them. It does take a long time to retrain your body to move in a different way to normal. It's true that internal arts are very simple in their movement and strategies, but only appear this way after long study. Good luck on your path....
Not so... Taiji is more than a match for any Shaolin style. Anyway, it's more about the practitioner than the martial art itself. BTW phuckimposter1987, Taijiquan is not Shaolin, it is a Wudang style. It is true that Shaolin invented Kung Fu, but that does not mean that all Kung Fu is Shaolin. After Shaolin, other styles of Kung Fu were born, such as Taijiquan, the famous style invented by Zhang Sanfeng, or Hung Gar, the style practiced by Wong Fei Hung.
hey man i didn't want to be rude or make you an external practitioner if u don't want to....also i didn't like to make this atmosphere when someonealse comments in a internal vid that he believes externals styles are better(for him) and everybody's vautes are bad. what's more i believe that everybody(even a master, so why not me) would apresiate when someone has a completely diferent opion(because he wants to search about everything and make sure that the style he practises likes him more than
than others. anyway i don't like to critisise u but i didn't like so much the way you answer me. you look like a very skilled practisioner and maybe love practising ba gua(that's great for you and others)but you should make me to tell you my opinion about internal styles(they are good).to sum up you should reply like this"why d u tell this?" or "why don't you prefer ba gua from others styles....that's the way a real kung fu practitioner speaks(i believe so i am not sure...)
better and that i believe it is more realistic because you can say that it is more simple....so if' you want i don't bother to speak but you should keep in mind that you may even if we speak about i chance to be right(that you may learn from others styles)it worths to do a research(not in youtube)SORRY FOR ME GRAMMAR SPELLING MISTAKES :) i hope i will help u EVEN A BEAT(and of course i want to tell me back what's your generaly opinion now...
ZeCk... why do you even bother to speak... You would come across much more intelligent if you didn't. Have you learnt and understood Bagua or Taiji? If not, how would you know? No style is better than another, it's the person doing them...
Yuen Lao Shi Hao...

Excellent dynamics, many similarities with Jiang Rong style New Palms but this one is more complicated.
