Caleb gave us a chance to win 2 very good divisional opponents. The season may be over, but the future is bright. Shoutout to the oline for having a solid game.
All I ask for is for our guys to make people miss more or break a freakin tackle. Always seems like anytime a Bears player gets touched, they would instantly fall and the play is dead. That DJ Moore screen TD; that play is dead if that edge rusher trips him up like I would normally expect to happen, but lo and behold...Moore actually made the dude miss and played like an all-pro threat that needs to be accounted for. Again, not asking much, but is it too much to ask for our offensive skill players to make the first guy miss more often or maybe catch the ball and gets some yards after the catch? There was another play where Keenan caught a seam route and fell over after catching it; he stays on his feet, he probably scores or at least gets a huge downfield gain. I'm reminded of either week 3 or 4 where Kmet caught a nice pass and without being touched, he fell over on his own. IF he stayed on his feet, he would have easily scored a long TD.
The new offensive coordinator has made a BIG difference in the bears offense. I have been very critical of CW . Now i am seeing the growth and confidence. We need a couple physical offensive linemen added and a power back in the backfield to block
Chase he has played so much better the last couple weeks. Confidence in his throws and letting it fly, it's been fun to watch. Not winning sucks, I pray they hire the right head coach at the end of the season. Thanks for the excellent breakdown and have a great Thanksgiving. Beat Detroit, Hell Chase you did lol
@@Mach11976 this was the best performance against Minns defense this year. One of the most confusing defenses for any qb to read and Caleb picked them apart.
Caleb Williams talent is out of this world. He is by far the most talented quarterback to ever come out of the draft. These throws I don’t think people understand how hard they are… These are absolutely insane. Don’t talk to me about JD or BO… they have way lower ceilings. JD has been trash for the last month.
This game alone I saw throws that I have never seen bears qb make. Caleb is him. If caleb can ball out like this the rest of the season, the bears should have no problem finding a proven HC. Those sort of coaches pick their battles, that’s why we need caleb to lure them in with his talent!
These are the types of throws I used to always yell at the TV that Rodgers got "lucky" on ALL THE TIME. Like he threw so many balls that if the defender takes half a step differently, it's a pick or it's knocked away. What I DIDN'T want to admit was that he was able to do that because he was so great at ball placement. That's what the great ones do. It sucks for the fans of teams they DON'T play for, but that's what it is. Luck favors the prepared, and Williams is starting to show an ability to be one of those "prepared" guys.
Caleb showing why he is the real number 1 rookie QB. Brown is really help unlock Caleb's potential and letting him be who he is, and what makes him great. That dart to Keenan in-between those 2 defenders in such a tight window was insane, then that floater to Swift while in mid-air was chef kiss.
You know whose name I haven’t been hearing much but who has opened up a lot of green for both Caleb and the RBs? Braxton Jones. That boy is BRINGING it lately.
@No OL is going to win every battle. He’s moving to the right spots and just dominating. Still can’t get over how brutally he destroyed his man on the DJ touchdown against Green Bay
@ he loses every battle when he faces a bull rusher that’s every single one. He’s not a top 15 Lt in the NFL and he will never be one. He’s also injury prone.
That last sack was on Kmet and swift. They both were blocking and both released the guy into Caleb. Swift should've broke off earlier and let Kmet block for a dump off.
This is very true…the wrs also rand to their spots and became totem poles when he started scrambling. I would much rather the receivers learn to react to him, than Caleb learn to throw the ball away
He’s looking a lot more comfortable in the pocket. I don’t remember if it was Ocho who said it last week, but someone said he hasn’t really improved from their standpoint because he’s only giving roughly one or two good drives per game. I saw your face when he said it because we have been witnessing at least 5 really nice drives by Caleb and many dropped passes by his receivers. There have been plenty overthrown passes too, but those that were dropped were very detrimental to our progression. He has come a long way especially dealing with the incompetency of his prior offensive coordinator. Brown is arranging to Caleb’s strengths and allowing him to be himself in the making. If Brisker was in the past 2 games, we would have won them both I believe. Targets on our defense has been a thing since he’s been out. As a rookie, after week 6, he’s improved dramatically
One of the radio guys talked about there potentially being an assignment mistake on the OT sack, and looking at the play there definitely seems to be some confusion. First Kmet picks up 98, but then Swift also tries to block him. Williams looks like he's expecting someone to be open to that side, but no one's there. Then both Kmet & Swift release on 98, who then goes straight to Williams for the sack. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those two was supposed to get open for a screen, which Williams was looking for as a check down.
We got a couple lineman back from injury and look at the difference. Now imagine we had a solid O line...... that should scare the crap out of the rest of the league
For years back in the 80s folks talked about a particular throw that John Elway made that was somewhat like play #15. Amazing how far QBs have come, now a throw like that is met with a 'nice pass, Caleb might be pretty good'. On that last play, Kmet needs to stay with the block while swift releases, then Caleb hits swift easy. They both release and all the sudden Caleb has a defender in his face. Unfortunate last play, great game.
As a bears fan, if caleb was on Washington, he would be hands down the ROTY with that coaching staff. Two weeks of Thomas Brown and he looks insane. Imagine what he wouldve been doing with Kliff at the helm. The discussion between him and Jayden is legit but if you put Jayden on this team and let him get hit as much as Caleb, we'd be watching Tyson Bagent playing on Thanksgiving.
AT 8:08.... Why the hell aren't you running a slant with the single receiver? Would have been a td. I guess they are worried about a guy dropping off the line? Seems like the OC is leaving a lot out there.
Hey Chase, good show. Why your guys so quiet over at “the faculty”. Didn’t old boy with the most to say about CWs claim that the Vikings defense was going to punish Celeb? Yaw talked about everything accept how well CWs played
Just think where this team could be if not for the hiring of Waldon... But i also think this wasn't going to be Chicago's year anyway. We want Eberflus gone, so this 5 game losing streak definitely has a silver lining.

While CW is giving cute little chances, Bo Nix is actually winning games.
@@watchmesquatchlol bo nix is terrible
Unless we get a top head coach , the Bears are what we thought they were- bad
@ bo nix is older than trey lance, who’s in his 4th season. I would hope he’s a bit more developed. Let’s check back in 3 seasons when Caleb’s 25.
If we get rid of Flukes, we might have a gnats ass hair of a chance to get into the playoffs.
As a very long time Bears fan, it's nice to see these plays being made by our team instead of against our team.
All I ask for is for our guys to make people miss more or break a freakin tackle. Always seems like anytime a Bears player gets touched, they would instantly fall and the play is dead.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too, I hope you enjoy the breakdown!
now look at when the receiver becomes open and when the ball arrives. the goal is for those #'s to be close together, but they're far apart with CW
That DJ throw was absolutely PI. Great to hear it said from a professional too. Great work per usual Chase!

Looking like one of the best QBs in the league rn
That hook shot. That’s his special move. Hook shots and throws down the sideline are efficient. I think he has hit on almost all of those.
Bring in Ben Johnson or Shanahan and it's over
Yeah definitely, because CW is definitely not smart enough for those offenses.
