Why is it a tenant in Florida can be evicted in 45 days for no rent payment, and in NYC it takes 2+ years.
No politician wants to answer that.
The entire system is stacked against the landlord who has taxes, insurance, heating and mortgage to pay.

@@jakerogers6062 Landlords don't do anything except own the property and collect money. Anything else, by definition, is the job of a property manager. And while they aren't rich, they usually are far better off than most people. So I don't think the system is stacked against landlords at all, when all they do is sit around and collect money.

My favorite news story with her is when she organized a campaign on Twitter to boycott GOYA Foods because the CEO said nice things about orange man bad. He's the same guy that donated millions of pounds of food to NYC which a substantial chunk going to her district as well as a program at schools to ensure kids were learning with a full stomach. Within 24hrs, all supermarkets across the country were sold out of GOYA products after someone organized a campaign to buy GOYA and donate it to their local food bank. Those that still had stock put limits of how many GOYA products a single customer could purchase. Second is when she condemned capitalism while selling sweatshirts with "tax the rich" printed on them with a 1500% mark up.
I will never give props to billionaires who "donate" because they will lobby as soon as their industry is threatened to pay their taxes. The CEO defitnetly does not pay their fair share of taxes but keep licking the boots of billionaires.

Saying them in the way that you did, is just you throwing around meaningless numbers. For example, 800 cases make up what percentage of total cases? 800 walk-in appointments make up what percentage of the total number of walk-in appointments? and so on and so forth.

AOC is one of the most immature representatives. She is full of disinformation, offers few realistic solutions to problems, has no idea how people live outside of New York, now has several inquiries about her ethics, cries when she does not get her way, and has actually accomplished next to nothing. I hope the people in her district get rid of her. She has a loud mouth but essentially just takes up space.

The descendentes of Taínos need someone like you to fight for us because local governments ignore us too. Pennsylvania counties of Lancaster and Montgomery ignore our pleads. We are constantly under bracket of livable income. I’m changing that for myself and my children, I teach to speak up against cruelty and to be respectful human beings. Also how important it is to stay safe. It’s coming to the point where the government reunited them with the man that they revealed traumatized memories each weekend he was suppose to be a father. After first session, I spoke about the responses they had at home of fear and behaviors. I asked if they end this as my children asked me but was told I’d be held in contempt and the “domestic violence” attorney would drop herself from this case. They say keep it up to the professionals and shows no remorse for the well being of their mental being. I was given only two options by the free lawyer due to having low income, drop protection order or reunification to extend protection. But no protection for their little brains from reliving harsh memories. It’s my job to take care of them, but professionals said it’s my fault for bringing court into in. Sorry, I thought that’s what I was suppose to do as a mandated reporter and mother. No wonder why woman are scared to speak up against abuse. I will continue to speak up, in my heart and as many people from the communities keep praying for us.

High rent costs only effect the lowest, poorest families, because at a certain point someone can just buy a house. Therefore, there should be a rent price maximum, like how cars have a blue book value, houses have a max rent price. Also, a minimum rent price for those on the streets, like five bucks, we have plenty of constructions to go around, we shouldnt ever see people on the street in this day and age. See how long it takes to pan handle for cash then see how comically wrong it is to ask thousands for rent each month. Also, we're during a crisis and landlords want to take advantage of the unfortunate, sounds like a literal crime.
If I was a tyrant and wanted a pet than AOC would be my perfect choice.
