    I feel like animation has more potential and actually has a feel that can't be mimicked by a live-action movie. For example, The Lion King live-action doesn't have the same charm as the animation, the same goes for a lot of live actions. And yet, when we see some usually live-action movies like Star Wars adapted into animation, they add a lot to it and generally do a lot of things better.

      I think the lack of restrictions allows for much greater expressions of emotion, especially in non-human characters. When you look at Simba's reaction to his fathers death in the original compared to the 'live-action' remake, there's really no competition

      No not yet, I've tried starting the show a few times but I always end up getting sidetracked. I am definitely going to watch the show and then the films at some point, maybe over summer.

    Animation can't be emotional. I wonder what people, who said this, watched as a child.
