My only one guess came true. Not surprised Cherami agreed to this. You did a vibrant job covering everything Fire Emblem related regarding her involvement. Keep doing what you're doibg. Your interviews are better than several fan engagement at panels the past couple of years.
Exactly, every time they do a panel, it's usually the same questions over and over. I love how Chris does his research and is very knowledgeable

I've only just clicked on this and *wow,* what an absolute get - we're coming in with the heavy hitters this year and I love it, plus she has so many iconic characters out right now it's hard to pick a handful between Street Fighter, Fire Emblem, Persona, Digimon, Zelda and the upcoming Gundam movie, but aces across the board as far as I'm concerned

About time you got around to interviewing her. My favorite character of hers is definitely Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tail, but Natsumi Hinata from Sgt. Frog is a close second. I also love her as Patty Thompson from Soul Eater, Tamaki Kawazoe from Bamboo Blade, Mai Taniyama from Ghost Hunt, Yoshika Miyafuji from Strike Witches, and Kotaro Sato from Kotaro Lives Alone.
I was fortunate to have her autograph several items via mail-in service such as my drawing of Natsumi via OG Collectibles last year, my Lucy Heartfilia poster via Streamily from Christmas of that same year, and most recently, my Blu Ray covers of Sgt. Frog and Fairy Tail: Phoenix Priestess from last month (also via OG Collectibles). Hopefully, I might get to opportunity to meet her in person if she ever gets invited to a con nearby, preferably StocktonCon or SacAnime.

I'm glad that she is still just as bubbly as she always is just like when I met her in a convention years ago and I still find it impressive that the roles that she's done over the past couple of years have been in games that I've been playing. Her as a character in Fire Emblem Echoes, then Rhea from Three Houses, Caeda in Fire Emblem Heroes and then as female V in Cyberpunk 2077 and Makoto from Persona 5 are all very shocking roles. Oh yeah and her as A2 in Nier Automata is another big surprise even if the character didn't get that much development sadly and a character in Judgment REALLY made me happy because I made so many Makoto would love Yakuza jokes and surprise, Makoto lowkey referenced something like Yakuza in P5 Strikers lol. Great job with the interview and loved your previous ones, especially the ones for Allegra and Ratana!
another top favorite actress. some of my favorites are Arianrhod from Cold steel series, makoto from Persona 5, iris Heart from Neptunia, Suzuha from steins gate, Sarly from Ar Nosurge and her Fire Emblem rolls to name a few.

So happy you got to interview her! Have you thought about interviewing with Mimi Gibson? (Voice of Lucky from Walt Disney's classic 101 Dalmatians) I heard she does do interviews lately about her acting career before she became a real estate agent.
I don't really ever focus on people who only do western animation as it's not something I personally have interest in

I know her as the voice of Rhea from fire emblem and Iris heart from Hyperdimension Neptunia also many more. A friend of mine was a big Iris heart fan she loves her.
Cherami Leigh is one of those classic voices of anime, truly, and it great to hear from her in an insightful interview.
I used to have the biggest crush on Lunar Edomae because apparently 13-year-old me had questionable judgment. I think in that role, some of the “Scarami” might have come out because I remember Edomae yelling with that strain to her voice that immediately surprised me as what I heard in real life in very bad arguments - not TV voice arguments (although unlike the real person I heard it from, Lunar immediately regretted it).
In a way, I’m actually a bit like you, Chris, in that anime was an important help in getting through tough times - if I am correctly interpreting your past statements. Leigh has voiced a huge variety of characters - such as Mai Taniyama from Ghost Hunt, Patty from Soul Eater, Mei Ren from Dance in the Vampire Bund, Takeshita from B Gata H Kei, and, of course Asuna, among others - who were personally important to me (or were from shows that were important to me) and who were all quite different from each other. As many of the voice actors from anime have. Breathing life into such a variety of characters who are larger-than life yet still relatable in their comical antics and serious struggles is a big deal. It not only attests to the actors’ talent but gives us a lot of different inspiring (fictitious) people to fill in the misfortunate gaps from our lives. It also makes us appreciate the better parts of our lives more - and maybe even some of our pain.

For me, there is a demented joy in hearing dialogue from fan-service-y scenes. In my head, I have to wonder what goes through those poor voice actors minds when they get the scripts. Do they think it's a prank? Do they laugh themselves silly? Do they get self-conscious? Or they all professional or indifferent about it? I just watched "Monster Girl Doctor" (She was Skadi Dragenfelt) so I do have to think of these questions. 😀

I enjoy her a lot as Sailor Venus, but the first role I heard her in was Natsumi in Sgt. Frog. She was so good as a nasty antagonistic character, and had great comedic timing.

Thing about that, unless it was recently announced: There hasn't been an update on it. I remember talking to Amanda Miller about it a few months back and she said they haven't even started doing work on it. Could be wrong
