Being from the States I didn't get some of the references, but since the teams I support usually aren't very good I could completely relate to the 'let's pretend we just scored' and the 'you're not special we lose every week' chants.
Okay, this was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. lol.

The most offensive chant from any sport has to be the Aris Basketball fans chanting "Oh poustarades"

I was there when the Wealdstone Raider got his fame. Whitehawk v Wealdstone, great away day down in Brighton and we thought the funniest thing that day was “Big Dave” drunk as a rat trying to stop the whitehawk players coach leave the ground. And just before his viral moment, the Raider had been with us celebrating Wealdstone’s equaliser and I was dancing with him, little did we know he then went over to the goal end and become a viral meme
That was Nathan Dawe I think who said about the Villa fans chanting his name, can’t remember the show he was on though

you guys should see how Mexico or Argentina chant in their football stadiums! The are also very passionate and so fun to be there! And as for Argentina, not only live sports are they very enthusiastic, but you should see how they are at concerts as well. Depending on how drunk they are their keeping it simple, by chanting the same words over and over again simply because they can't or are unable to remember the words...

I went to a few matches as a kid but slowly lost my interest as I grew up and drifted more towards music. But I do remember the atmosphere being something really special. Nothing quite like it 🙌🇬🇧

*I'm very curious!* Do real British Manchester United fans actually get offended if you call the team "Man U"? I remember one of my British friends on my club soccer team mentioned it one day at practice. But that was years ago when I was in highschool so I don't remember exactly what he said.
