Congrats G2, a pretty decent team performance. Jankos looking better on the new-ish meta, Caps popping off (especially game 2, honestly, incredible), whilst Perkz and Micky both continue to play well. Perkz especially I feel is playing his best ever in the ADC position. My only concern is that this felt like the most mis-matched QTR final. G2 really turned up, and GenG, after game 1, didn't. Maybe that's because G2 shut them down. But the semi is really where G2 will need to be great. But it no longer feels certain that this is a tournament between TES and DWG, as I thought a couple of weeks ago. And that's exciting.
One small correction (as I see things, at least) - Perkz is playing his best ever as a Marksman. A few times in 2019 there was serious thought for him as a contender for best ADC in the world, but (aside from Xayah and eventually Kai'sa) he achieved most of that through his use of non-Marksmen in the role - Neeko, Yasuo etcetera. When that was no longer viable (and the aforementioned Xayah and Kai'sa the same) he really struggled to adapt to the very limited viable Marksman pool, so this was the best we have seen him in that capacity. Not much of a correction, you may think it facetiousness, but I just wanted to say it :)

The G2 - Damwon game will be really good. Damwon's win over DRX was a different kind of 3-0 compared to G2's 3-0. DRX had the lead on those games but the moment they lost it, they just seemed lost against Damwon. The G2 - GenG showcased G2s prowess in Team Fighting. LCK teams tend to play slow, so they dont have much team fights. Probably why G2 is a really good LCK killer, its so similar to the LPL where skirmishes just pop up allnover the place.

G2 is the most LPL team that’s not in the LPL. They really remind me of TES. Sometimes they int and get over aggressive but they can make adjustments mid series and have the mental fortitude to come back from 0-2 to win a bo5.

i think G2 has a better mindset this year last year they destroyed LEC and gotten stuff nerved away now they starded weak and gained control over them self and the Meta and can probable work better with a 0-1 stard. If it is enough to win worlds or even to reach Finals i don t know but i would like to see a LEC team with a real worlds trophy ( FNC Saison one trophy is hard to count as a real one)
