London buses in Stratford 09/05/2024

Buses in Stratford Broadway and at the bus station on 9th May 2024. Stagecoach have introduced their new single deck Volvo BZLs on route 276, replacing the Enviro200s used temporarily since they gained the service last year. Meanwhile the StreetDeck Electroliners are only working a handful route 86 journeys as the charging equipment at Romford garage is yet to be fully available.

The future is something I don't catch up with quick enough, and already brings me new buses for route 276. Damn. Buses are becoming more electric here. I love the fact there's electric buses with phone charging stations. I bet those new buses for route 86 has them.

Phone charging sockets should now be standard on new London buses as part of TfL's specification for improved bus interiors (though not all operators introduced all the other features at the same time).
