I was awake last night (early this morning) with anxiety and this video is what helped me to calm. So thank you so much for that 🙏.
I am trying to find my way out of my addictions and my biggest challenge is self sabotage. So a lot of ‘f* around and find out’ going on to find new ways of breaking old cycles.
All the best with your ‘no internet’ Virgo season. You are going to have so much more time to do other things! (I know I would if I did likewise). 💛

Idk. I think aesthetics are important. Beauty is important to us. Not everything is for necessity alone (take your little ghostie there for instance) and if something functional can also be beautiful (or cuter), all the better. I don't think aesthetics are wrong or without merit. I do think it becomes more of an issue when you believe something is beautiful or more worthy because other people think so, like particular brands, for instance. I like that you chose a case for your phone. It may not really need protection, but it's nice to have things that feel pleasant to look at and touch while we use them. Nice tools and beautiful objects make us happy. Hoarding such things takes the specialness away, but having a few curated pieces can feel luxurious, even with mundane objects. Enjoy your case and your Bluebird! 😄

I totally understand wanting stuff to be cute. Aesthetics are so important, witchy, techy, or else. My own tech items are my pets as well 😍 and I understand how you would want to provide for your phone and treat it with a nice shell 💜

Thanks for sharing Mixtress Rae 🙏 Personalizing your dumbphone or its case with stickers, sharpie or paints might be a good idea😊 not only is it a little craft project to make an item you regularly use prettier, it’s also very 90’s/naughties 😄 we used to personalize eeeeverything when I was in highscool, our clothes, our bags, our discmans and our phones 🤭 nothing fancy, quite the contrary, often parents were horrified 😅 but it made the items feel « ours » and tbh gave them a punky edge 🤭 anyways, thanks for sharing your thoughts, hope you are doing well 🙏💖

I very selfishly hope you don't step away from RUclips. I can relate to a lot of what you talk about and to your way of thinking. Your videos make me stop to give some thought to things I'm normally "too busy" to consider, and they've been helpful.

Though I do have a smartphone, I've never used it for anything but whatsapp, alarm clock, camera and debit card app. (no maps, no weather.... I just look out the window, and look in the sky, at plants, birds and insects, they tell me the weather. And maps , well, I get lost all the time, with or without maps, and without even less, because I look more on my surroundings.)
But I totally find myself being online way too often - with my laptop. I think I need to restrict myself too. Not completely though , as for example my kids school has digitalised all parent communication, so I need to daily check.
Omg I miss my old nokia or my later flip phone! I had personalized it by keeping it in a crochet drawstring pouch I made from a random (ugly) leftover scratchy "muddy-orange" colored wool I found somewhere 🤣

I am in a similar place. It's healthy to re-evaluate where we are. I changed my channel in a crazy way. I've went through phases like this. I feel the stress of the internet, yet life is changing. A lot of people take frequent breaks. I've found it useful to keep it across the room, not constantly on me. I notice dumb phones work better too. I have been looking in to a stereo and maybe a DVD player. I keep my Spotify, but have been using Windows Media player to buy and play CDs and it makes me happy. I also changed from Iphone to Android and am limited to what I can do sometimes, but life is less overwhelming. Absolutely feel the same way about the internet. It's good in moderation. I see so many people that ignore what's in front of them if it's not o n a screen. Oh dude! You should texturize it with silver or blue glitter. Best of luck! ❤🎉
