Jay being a very good pony! - 22nd Feb -

Jumanji jumping the 85cm and 90cm Dengie qualifier at West Kype on saturday. (is it just me or where some of the fences definitely NOT 90cm? haha!) Could have cried walking the course :L
But little Jay was soooo up for it today, just wanted to canter the whole time haha! He kept throwing his legs out when I asked him to canter haha and when I was holding him back he done a wee mini pathetic rear thing haha he was so funny! I've been working him loads recently so he's pretty fit, and I gave him some extra oats leading up to the show, and also a local instructor very very kindly lent us her lorry for the day, so he didn't need to hack! and as a result he just wanted to go :L he was so funny, jumped SO well, but sadly yesterday I was riding realllllly badly! Like embarrassingly so.
The days when I'm up for it and I'm like "right, we're gonna do this!" Jays like "hmm no! can't!" but then days like yesterday when hes like "lets go lets go!" And I'm a pure twat and don't 100% trust him on it. If I had went for i too it would have been alot smoother and less messy!
But hey ho, all learning, just starting to get back out againt his year, so from now on I will make a pact wit myself to "just go for it" every time. haha! If I come flying off over his head? ah well then. lol
But anyway very proud of him he was a superstar, ended up with a 2nd in the 90cm - and I'm just really delighted he jumped them all!!!
In the warm up he took some right flyers too haha jumped really well!
He's jumping his socks off at the moment and really loving it, so lets hope we can get permanent transport sorted and can get out more frequently this year!!

Lovely round you both looked great! I did the 85-90 and our pc jumping and then when they put it up to the 90 dengie some of it was huge so im glad I didn't do it haha! well done :)
