    Very cool! Where did you get that shaker thingie!?
    My grandad used to soak the sucker fillets in salt over night then he'd smoke them in the smoker using apple wood! That was really good too! God bless brother thanks for the lesson in sucker cooking I liked it!

    Oh that bridge looks like it would be good to magnet fish from too. Never had sucker fish. We have yet to do any catch and cook while camping. It's something that I've wanted to do for a while. Either we don't catch what we are allowed to keep or we don't catch enough or the right thing lol. One day maybe we'll get to. You make that a filleting look so easy. I've never done that before. Have a feeling it would take me some practice. Loving the look of that seasoning. And deep frying them oh yum. Ok I have no doubt this is probably amazing tasting. I really feel like you should have shared a nugget with all your viewers 😆

    In the past, we've used a big ball of crawlers and did really well when they are in pods this time of year. Great video Brother!
    Eating suckers in Michigan can be hit or miss. Spring runs of whites are always best though

    suckers have big scales. we used to catch them when I was a Kid and never ate any. My mom told us that they had a lot of worms in the meat. and we didn't want to eat the worms. LOL Might be worth a try today though. great video and have fun being outdoors with nature. take good care Mark

    We made them into sucker patties. Filet them, take the skin off, grind them up and mix in with some fine chopped onions, celery, and some Italian bread crumbs and shallow pan fry them until golden brown. Put on a hamburger bun and throw some quick homemade slaw on top with some pickled red onions and some homemade spicy mayo and you won't regret it bud

    Looks delicious, Brother. Up here, the Mennonite people ate a lot of Suckers. They have a lot of bones so most people overlook them. But deep frying them that way, sounds like the bones aren't a problem.

    A friend of mine's Mom used a pressure cooker to cook Carp, it desolvid just about all the bones and then She made pattys out of it and cooked it like Salmon pattys or Crab cakes, it turned out great. Great video
