Hi, so I applied for my non SDS visa on July 6th to pursue flight training in Winnipeg Manitoba. Its been exactly 8 weeks and theres no update other than the fact that my application has been received by them. I'm not an Indian citizen so I don't have to give biometrics, an interview or background check. I wanted to know how much more time should I wait to expect a reply from them ?
Does the offer letter and the stipend outlined for the Ph.D. program suffice as evidence of financial support, considering it covers all expenses, or is it necessary to provide bank account statements and pursue a GIC?
Yes, you don't need to provide anything else if your PhD is full funded. Plus you can show GIC if you are applying through SDS, otherwise it would be fine.

I just want to ask, that I have been wanting to apply for the Canadian Visa and my admission is done along with the payment of the fees of the first sem of my 4-sem long diploma course In Ontario, so in the financial support documents, what amount should I potray ? Should I potray an amount in total available funds as the sum of : (2 yrs of tuition fee + 2yrs Living expenses ). As for me, the amount for the above condition comes up to about, 63K CAD, takkng into account fees, living expenses and some extra funds for the duration of my course i.e. 2 yrs. So do I need to potray the whole amount as such ? Also I havent taken any loan and am being sponsored by my father itself.

I received one sheet soon after my test however the status of the tests shows as referred also on the 2nd sheet it says 'you have not provided online consent'.... It will be great if you could give a clarity on the above mentioned points.
Nah Tahseer, in my medical sheet status of the tests shows as required, whereas, urs says completed. Also on the 2nd sheet it says that I've not provided consent for online e-medical, whereas, in yours it says that you have provided consent. So should I contact the hospital to get a sheet that is updated like yours? How did you get yours?

How come you are applying via non-sds gateway and paying gic at the same time?? Thats so contradictory 😢
Its optional. Non SDS category can pay GIC if they want.

Your first medical sheet is good to use. You can use that.
